Do you see the CLZ15 symbol listed in File >> Find Symbol? If not Update the Symbol Settings as explained here:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_GlobalSymbolSettings.php#UpdateSettingsSteps

Go to the chart and select Edit >>Delete All Data and Download. Do you then get the data?

Therefore, a firewall is blocking the connection. Please contact your Internet Service Provider about this. This is the relevant documentation:

However, to confirm the problem, we must see a copy of the Message Log provided by following these instructions only:

Hi,

Is it possible to use multiples instruments (crude oil, russel, e-mini s&p, mini nasdaq, gold) using 1 single DOM?

Or I have to open 1 DOM for each instrument?

Yes. Refer to the documentation here for the Associated Watchlist:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_SwitchingSymbols.html#AssociatedSymbolList

It is also possible to add a Control Bar to the Trading DOM and set it to display a list box which contains the symbols from the Associated Watchlist for quick changing between symbols.

We will work on that documentation later today. It will be located on the page linked to above.

Hi,

Sorry for so many questions!

Yesterday I asked:
"Is it possible to use multiples instruments (crude oil, russel, e-mini s&p, mini nasdaq, gold) using 1 single DOM?"
Your answer was:
"Yes. Refer to the documentation here for the Associated Watchlist:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_SwitchingSymbols.html#AssociatedSymbolList "

I've tried to follow the instructions in order to use multiples instruments using 1 single DOM, but I couldn't do that succesfully! Maybe because these instructions are related to charts, not DOM.

Please, could send me any video that help me to setup the DOM in order to use multiples instruments?

Tks

We will improve upon the documentation later today and post an update here when done.

That documentation also does apply to the Trade DOM as well.

Hi,

- Let's suppose I've placed an order using OCO order
- The order was filled
- Then suddenly, my computer freezes or my internet connection has broken

What happen in this situation?
Is the OCO order running on Exchange Server?
Will this order be executed? I mean, one order will cancel another?

Regarding the problem of using multiples instruments using only 1 single DOM, is there a possibility of a remote support?

Tks
[2015-11-13 17:55:20]
Sierra Chart Engineering - Posts: 104368
The answer to the OCO question depends upon what particular Trading service you will be using Sierra Chart with. Which one? You can find the list here:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/Data.php#Services

When you look on the pages for each individual Trading service, in the What is Included section, you can determine whether OCO functionality is managed server side.

We will be working on the documentation today for changing the symbol of a Trade DOM. Just give us a few more hours for that.

HI,

Tks for the reply!

I'm going to use Rithmic. Or CTS..

Other problem: Do you remember that I was having problems with the firewall here in my job? So I installed Sierra Charts on my personal laptop in my home. When I open the DOM, it doesn't show the prices...

Is it missing any kind of configuration?

I'm almost giving up!

A remote support could fix all these issues. The way you work, we are losing customers!

Sierra Chart Engineering - Posts: 104368
Rithmic and CTS do support server-side OCO so those order types will be at the exchange when transmitted. And the OCO functionality is managed on the server side.

What is the exact symbol the Trade DOM set to?

Provide a copy of the Message Log by following these instructions:

As we are working on the documentation for the compact watchlist for a Control Bar attached to a Trade DOM, we realize there is one menu command we need to release. We are going to do that later today in order to support this.

So we will have the documentation and this new command available later today. We will update this thread when done.

Let us know if you would like us to use remote assistance to help you with:
When I open the DOM, it doesn't show the prices..

If so, then you need to select Help >> Accept Remote Assistance.

You will get a Team viewer window with an ID number and password. Start an Account Support ticket and provide us that information:

Also, in regards to this comment here:
I'm almost giving up!

A remote support could fix all these issues. The way you work, we are losing customers!

Patience is very important. You need to understand that Sierra Chart is connecting to external services. some of which we do not control. You also had a firewall problem, which was blocking connectivity. So all of these difficulties, are not Sierra Chart issues but external issues. So it is important to have the patience in order to allow time for these to get resolved.

And when we see a comment like the above, do NOT use Rithmic. Do not even consider it. You are going to be tremendously frustrated with connectivity problems! And you will have a very high probability of not even being able to connect to Rithmic. Please do not consider Rithmic at all!

Only use CTS. If you are deciding between Rithmic or CTS, your only choice is CTS.

You need to use Help >> Download Prerelease.

We are working on the demonstration video and it will be out by tomorrow. We will post a link here.
