1. Position shows in TWS not in SC. Have tried symbol settings update and translate symbols and disconnect/reconnect, and restarting SC. All other positions showing fine in SC.

2. Positions entered through TWS don't show the price or pnl in SC. Is there any way to retrieve the order fills/position entry price and pnl into SC?

So you do not see the Position Quantity in Trade >> Trade Positions Window?

There will not be an average price but you should see the position.

1. The position does show in the Trade Positions window, but not on the chart/DOM. Is it possibly a symbol issue, related to the USD at the end?

See attachment.

2. The average price/pnl is a separate problem, is it possible to retrieve these also? They only work fine when executed through SC, but it is more practical to execute in IBKR mobile or TWS sometimes.

1. Yes this is a symbol issue. We do not know why that is happening. It should not be. There is something unusual going on related to that symbol from TWS.

2. Sierra Chart does not support the Position Average Price from Interactive Brokers because they do not provide that field. It has to be calculated.

1. Would orders entered to manage this position through the chart/DOM on SC work? Is there something we can do to help resolve this?

2. They do show AVG PRICE in TWS. Also at some point in the past, fills from TWS would retrieve into SC and avg price and pnl for those would work in SC also.

1. The solution is described here:
Trading Information Windows: Using Order Fill Calculated Positions In Special Cases

2. This average price is not provided as a single price through their API. There are calculations involved to arrive at it and we do not want to get involved in that. It is not going to happen.

Yes this is a symbol issue. We do not know why that is happening. It should not be. There is something unusual going on related to that symbol from TWS.

This issue is currently occurring on multiple symbols across all positions at this time.

We just tried trading CBOT corn through TWS and we do see the correct position in the Trade Positions Window:

Symbol  Quantity  Trade Account  Average Price  Open Profit/Loss  Daily Profit/Loss  Daily P/L Reset DateTime  High During Position  Low During Position  Last During Position  Margin Requirement  ServicePositionQty  Currency  Entry DateTime  MaxPotentialPosQty

ZC-202503-CBOT  1  DU018  0.00  0.00  0.00  00:00:00  487.50  487.50  487.50  0.00  1  USD  00:00:00  0

And that symbol, we see matches with the chart. So everything is correct from the Sierra Chart side. You will need to have Interactive Brokers help with this.

We also see you are running older versions of Sierra Chart. You need to update. We are not going to help you with older versions. It is important to update before contacting us.

Have you disabled realtime market data for Eurex in newer versions through datafeeds other than SC's, like from IB? We updated to latest version and realtime Eurex data became disabled.

Since you have no mobile charting solution for this realtime data, why block your users from receiving it after paying for it elsewhere?

Custom studies we had developed and paid a lot of $ for also are no longer working in newer versions, where there is no benefit the user needs in a newer version, but it keeps losing functionality which worked previously and is needed, it does not make sense for us to update.

EUREX data from Interactive Brokers is no longer supported within Sierra Chart and that is consistent with all other data feeds and Trading services supported with Sierra Chart. This policy was set at least three years ago. It was never applied to Interactive Brokers until recently. So we have been very accommodating for years.

We offer our own high quality EUREX data feed and we are not going to be competing with anyone else. It is out of the question. It is not supported anywhere else including IQ Feed. If you want real-time EUREX data within Sierra Chart it has to come from our own data feed.

Check with the developer of the custom study about this. We do not know the cause:

Check with the developer of the custom study about this. We do not know the cause:

1. Unfortunate as it was custom work, would require paying for redeveloping these over again for newer version changes.

2. The problem is your feed has no way to monitor positions on charts/manage risk on mobile through this setup, where IBKR does for all exchanges in one place, so blocking and removing the previous functionality is taking away useful risk management features.

The solution is described here:
Trading Information Windows: Using Order Fill Calculated Positions In Special Cases

3. If live working orders working at IB/exchange are filled while SC is not running, these fills are not being downloaded into SC even on starting SC or disconnecting/reconnecting. How can the fills be loaded after? This also used to work in the past.

1. Changes happen. Software is not static. So there will be times when updates are necesary.

2. The data feed does not make any difference to the items you are referencing. You will get your data from our Denali Exchange Data Feed for EUREX, but you will still be trading with Interactive Brokers and having access to the items you mention through Interactive Brokers.

3. This is an issue with how long the trading service keeps the order fill information. If Interactive Brokers has the data available, then Sierra Chart will download it. If the information is not downloaded, then that means that Interactive Brokers is not sending it.

You can always enter missing order fills manually if that is needed.

1. Unfortunate as it was custom work, would require paying for redeveloping these over again for newer version changes.
We do not know the cause but we will help to troubleshoot it to the extent possible. We want you to restart Sierra Chart, open just one chart and add the custom study from the DLL that you have an issue with, on the most recent version and then provide a copy of the Message Log. Instructions:
Support Board Posting Information: How to Post Your Message Log (Required In Some Cases)

2. We think the reason this issue is being raised by the user is because they are a professional, and they have to pay a substantial amount for EUREX data through Sierra Chart.

In order to make the interface to TWS easier to maintain and support, support for this has been removed in newer versions (although this goes back probably about nine months ago or more):
3. If live working orders working at IB/exchange are filled while SC is not running, these fills are not being downloaded into SC even on starting SC or disconnecting/reconnecting. How can the fills be loaded after? This also used to work in the past.

We recommend just keeping Sierra Chart running all the time connected to TWS. That should not be hard to do.
