I need help activating the Denali Data Feed. I am currently using a Topstep account in a trading combine. My plan is to use Sierra Chart’s Denali Data Feed for market data, but for order routing, I need to use Rithmic. I also want to subscribe to live CME data at a lower cost, and for that, I need a live funded futures account, which I now have with AMP Futures. I have received a username and login credentials from CQG and have logged in with them (as I understand it, I need to log in at least once a month for at least 10 seconds). I have also signed the agreement to obtain non-professional status so that I can get CME live data at a lower cost. However, when I try to activate the services, it still says "Trading account required" with an orange marker. I don’t know what I am doing wrong. Can you please help? Additionally, I would like clarification on what "Data/Trade Services" means. Does "Data" simply refer to market data, such as live CME data, and "Trading Service" refer to order routing, meaning the system that sends orders to CME? Lastly, when I log into CQG, I am required to sign an agreement. I can find and read the agreement, but I cannot find a button or option to actually sign it. I have tried clicking the "Save and Exit" button at the bottom right, but it doesn’t seem to help. How do I properly sign the agreement? |

I am able to sign in to both Rithmic Direct DTC and CQG. From my understanding, I need to be connected to Rithmic Direct DTC to access my Topstep account. For the Denali Data Feed, I simply need to go to "Activate Services" and subscribe to an exchange to receive live CME data. Currently, I am subscribed to Full CME Group (CME, CBOT, COMEX, NYMEX) with Market Depth for Non-Professional Trading Accounts.

Definitely contact AMP and have them move you to Teton order routing away from CQG. Teton order routing is superior to CQG and you do not have to connect once a month. However, when I try to activate the services, it still says "Trading account required" with an orange marker. You can disregard this.Additionally, I would like clarification on what "Data/Trade Services" means. Definitely contact AMP and have them move you to Teton order routing away from CQG. Teton order routing is superior to CQG and you do not have to connect once a month. My answer: Yes, I know. But I have an account with Topstep (a prop firm), and they require the use of Rithmic. So, I need to be connected to "Rithmic Direct – DTC" in the current service list, as they do not accept any other connection. However, I do not want to use Rithmic’s market data. Instead, I use Sierra Chart’s Denali data feed. Additionally, I want to minimize costs, so I need to have a live funded futures account, which I believe I now have. I also wanted to use Teton order routing together with the Denali data feed, but since I am using Topstep, they require Rithmic at least for order routing. However, for the data feed, you can use other options, such as the Denali data feed. How can I disregard the orange marker? can you pleas help me? Date Time Of Last Edit: 2025-02-25 16:23:28

We believe the "Orange Marker" you are referring to is just a warning. It does not actually change based on whether you have connected to your live, funded, futures trading account or not. The way to see if you have connected properly to your account for the CME Non-Professional verification is to look at the "Verified Until" date for your account. This needs to be in the future. You can view this date at the following link: https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=DenaliDataFeed#Exchanges Everything on your account looks good at this time. So you should be fine getting data for the "Full CME Group (CME, CBOT, COMEX, NYMEX) with Market Depth for Non-Professional Trading Accounts" as this is the exchange that you have active at this time. I will be using the Full CME Group (CME, CBOT, COMEX, NYMEX) with Market Depth for non-professional Trading accounts until February 28. In the Account Notes - Action Required section, it states: "Your Services Balance of 0.00 USD is too low to cover next month's fee of 85 USD for your account, which includes 39 USD for the Denali Exchange Data Feed (Activate/Deactivate Denali Exchange Data Feed Features). For a complete list of recurring services, refer to this page." It says that I need to make a payment of 85 USD. Does this mean that on March 1, 2025, I will no longer have access to the Full CME Group (CME, CBOT, COMEX, NYMEX) with Market Depth for non-professional Trading accounts if I do not have 85 USD in my account? Or will I still have access and receive an invoice afterward? I do not want to keep this subscription after February 28, as I plan to switch to "CME with Market Depth for non-professional Trading accounts" on March 1, which costs 13 USD since I only trade ES and NQ. Additionally, can you confirm whether everything is set up correctly? Specifically: Am I properly connected to my Topstep account with Rithmic? Am I connected to the Denali data feed? Am I receiving real-time data and not delayed data? How can I verify all of this myself? For example, is there a log or another way to check? I want to be able to confirm my connection in the future to ensure everything is set up correctly. Regarding Account Verification: When I go to Activate Services, I see: Verified Till: 2025-03-27. Does this mean that I must log into Sierra Chart Order Routing for at least 10 seconds on March 27 to maintain my non-professional status and continue using my data feed? I appreciate your help. |

The exchanges renew on a calendar month basis. Therefore, if you were going to continue with the "Full CME Group (CME, CBOT, COMEX, NYMEX) with Market Depth for Non-Professional Trading Accounts", then you would need to have at least $39.00 in your account prior to March 1, 2025, in order for the exchange to automatically renew. The remainder of the $85.00 that is referenced ($46.00) is needed in your account prior to March 9, 2025, in order to renew your Service Package on that date. Keep in mind the Service Packages renew on a rolling 31 day cycle. I do not want to keep this subscription after February 28, as I plan to switch to "CME with Market Depth for non-professional Trading accounts" on March 1, which costs 13 USD since I only trade ES and NQ.
Therefore, you will need to have at least $13.00 in your account prior to March 1, 2025, in order to be able to activate that exchange on March 1, 2025. Refer to the following instructions: Denali Exchange Data Feed: Changing Denali Exchange Data Feed Exchange Selections Am I properly connected to my Topstep account with Rithmic?
If your "Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Current Selected Service" is set for "Rithmic", then you need to look at your "Status Bar" which is in the Control Bar. The Status Bar will be Green if you are properly connected. If there is a problem, then it will be Red. Refer to the following: Status Bar Am I connected to the Denali data feed?
As long as the option for "Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings >> Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds" is set to "Yes", and you are setup to get data from our Denali Exchange Data Feed, then you should be getting the data from us. If you have the "Symbol" being displayed in the Chart Header, then look for an "[M]" after the symbol which will tell you that you are getting your data from our Denali Exchange Data Feed. Refer to the following: Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart: Integration with Trading Services Am I receiving real-time data and not delayed data?
In the Chart Header is an item prefaced with "DD:" This tells you the amount of "Data Delay". This should be zero, or close to it. If it is 10 minutes or 15 minutes, then you are getting the delayed streaming data and not real-time data. If that item is not already in your chart header, then refer to the following: Working With Charts: Region Data Line / Chart Header Does this mean that I must log into Sierra Chart Order Routing for at least 10 seconds on March 27 to maintain my non-professional status and continue using my data feed?
