Missing price data in the footprint

Hello,
I have the problem that when the computer is switched off and on again, no price data is loaded in the footprint for this period.
Using “Reload” in the chart was not successful. No price data was loaded for the period (when the computer is off).
If the computer is on, I receive the price data.

I use the Denali data feed.

Many thanks for your help.

That chart is for the CL (Crude Oil) instrument. You are not setup to get data from our Denali Exchange Data Feed for the CME Group, as your exchange did not renew on October 1, 2024. Therefore, this data is coming from your trading service and that is why the Ask/Bid data is missing.

You can re-activate the exchange at the following link:

The problem persists.

When the computer is on and Sierra Chart is running, data is fully available in the footprint.

When the computer is off, after a period of time is online again, the data is missing in the footprint for this period.

The chart shows the time phases when the computer was off and no data was loaded in the FP.

In the abbreviation GBL (EUREX) {Appendix “FP_GBL”} the price data is available in the footprint for the same period as for CL.

You are getting the EUREX data from our Denali Exchange Data Feed since you have the EUREX exchange active.

You are NOT getting the data for CL from our Denali Exchange Data Feed, as you do not have any exchanges for the CME Group activated. Therefore, you are getting your data from Interactive Brokers and they do not have historical Bid/Ask information, hence the result is what you are seeing.

You can activate the CME Group exchange(s) at the following link:

By updating the course data, the data is back in the footprint.

How can I fill in the missing data in the footprint from the last few days?

It did not work with “Reload” in the “Chart” menu.

Thank you very much.

You need to delete the old data and redownload the data from our servers.

If you know where the data started showing the missing information, then refer to the following:
Historical Intraday Data (Missing Data / Download Errors / Viewing More Data): Retrying the Download When There is Data in the Chart

Otherwise, you would need to redownload the entire data set for the symbols for which you are having a problem. In this case, use the "Edit >> Delete All Data and Download" option. Refer to the following:
Edit Menu: Edit >> Delete All Data And Download

Note that you only have to do either one for each symbol, not for each chart.
