REJECTION ON SIGNING THE AGREEMENT FOR DENALI

Dear Team,

I tried to sign all the agreements for the Denali CME but all of them were rejected,
I signed them as non-professional consequently I could not activate the Denali CME services.

During the agreement, I just put my name and family name, no other indication.

In order to be considered a Non-Professional for the CME Group, you need to have a live funded, futures trading account. And you need to be able to connect your Sierra Chart software to that account at least once a month for verification of that live account. Refer to the following for more on this:

Therefore, when you fill out the agreements and you want to be considered a Non-Professional, you need to specify the "Clearing Firm" (or brokerage name if you do not know the clearing firm) and your "Account Number" for that live, funded futures trading account. You have not done this, therefore the agreements were rejected.

Dear Team,

I would appreciate if your answer do not refer to a full entire chapter with so many options to read and understand, can you try to make an answer more precise and adequate in order to be more efficient.

This is the 3rd day and I am still with the same trouble, I think it would be useful to think in efficiency in your answer. It is not normal from my point of view, to spend 3 days to obtain an answer with multiple possibilities without solving at the end the trouble itself.

So per my understanding :

1st option

Global Setting / Data Trade Service Setting / Service : Rythmic

Exchange Agreement-Uniform subscriber addendum
In the blank Trading account number : Apex-(digits account number)
In the blank Clearing firm : Apex
Type full name : my name and surname

CME Non-Professional and Certificate Agreement
Name : my name and surname
then click to "I am a non Professional"


2nd option

Global Setting / Data Trade Service Setting / Service : SC-Data-All Services (data)
and sign the agreements as above.
Once signed go to Global Setting / Data Trade Service Setting / Service : Rythmic

One of these options is correct to have the CME Denali working for APEX ?

Neither of those options are correct.

You are jumping ahead of yourself. The first thing you need to do is to decide if you want to get your data from Rithmic or from our Denali Exchange Data Feed.

Keep in mind, that in order to get real-time data from our Denali Exchange Data Feed for the CME Group, you need to have a live, funded futures trading account. Refer to the information at the following link regarding this:

You can NOT use a Prop Firm account (such as APEX) to qualify for the CME Group's Non-Professional requirement. It must be a live, funded, futures trading account in which you are trading your own funds and only for yourself.

As noted in the section we linked you to on this, we have setup an option with some brokers to allow you to create an account with a minimum amount of funds ($100-$200) in order to qualify for the CME Group Non-Professional requirement. Refer to the following:

I really thank you for your answer.
Step by step, now I understand why my account was not working for CME Denali Sierra Chart.

Now, I have two questions.

1. If I open a trading account with Stage 5 with a balance of 100 USD, I presume than CME Denali Sierra Chart can be activated after having signed all the agreements (Exchange Agreement-Uniform subscriber addendum and CME Non-Professional and Certificate Agreement). I think I am correct, please confirm.

2. However, my question now is to understand if AFTER having open the account with Stage 5, I can link my APEX prop firm account and obtainning the CME Denali service inside the Sierra Chart Platform. and if yes, what would be the next step process?

Would you kindly clarify these two points.

1. This is correct. You will enter the information for your Stage 5 account in the agreements. You can access the agreements at the following link:

Once the agreements have been accepted, then you can activate the CME Group exchange(s) at the following link:

After starting the process with stage 5, I realize that their questions are extremely intrusive on my private life.

In all sincerity, I don't think such companies offer you access to USD 100 after the financial questions they ask about your present and past.

On reflection, it seems simpler to me to give up my prop firm APEX account and start again with a propfirm that is in close collaboration with Sierra Chart.

During our last correspondances, I seem to have seen, among all the articles you submitted to me, an actual list of these propfirms.

Would you be so kind as to provide me with a link to the propfirms with which Sierra Chart can be easily connected without going through another intermediary.

In other words, the simpler, the better.

There is a Prop Firm named Apteros that uses our Trading Evaluation software. But the issue of needing a live, funded, futures trading account that is NOT a prop firm still exists. So you will have the same issue with Apteros as you are having with APEX.

Stage 5 will allow you to open an account for $100.00 in order to satisfy the CME Group's Non-Professional requirement. But, if you do not want to do this, then your best option at this point is to stay with APEX and use the Rithmic data rather than our Denali Exchange Data Feed. It is not recommended by us, and there is a lack of historical data, but that would be your only other option.

Would you please check if now everything is in order from your side and if I can start with my Apex propfirm, please confirm.

2. this month I have chosen the full package of Denali but my intention is to trade mainly the ESZ-24 (S&P 500 future).
If by next months I chose the option CME with Market Depth for non-professional Trading accounts USD 12.50 is enough to trade ESZ-24, please confirm also.

1. Everything looks good from our end. To connect to your Rithmic account with APEX, follow these instructions:

Keep in mind that you will need to connect to your Edge Clear/Ironbeam account at least once a month to update your Verified Until date. Right now that date is showing as December 11, 2024. Therefore, you will need to connect prior to that date in order to update the date to 30 days in the future. You can view your Verified Until date at the following link:

2. The "CME with Market Depth for Non-Professional Trading Accounts" includes all the data for instruments traded on the CME exchange, which includes the E-Mini S&P 500 (ES). If you do not need Market Depth data, then you could do the "CME Non-Professional Top-of-Book" exchange instead as well.

however, Apex said to me to connect to server "Apex-Chicago Area-Non Aggregated" and not to "Rithmic 01-Chicago Apex-non-aggregated".
Does it changes anything with you, it is correct ?

2. As per my understanding, the only way to obtain the Market Depht is with the current package, all the other does not provide this service for the CME E-Mini SP 500, it is my understanding correct ?

1. Connecting to APEX does not count towards the requirement for the non-professional status for the CME Group. You need to connect to your Edge Clear/Ironbeam account at least once a month to continue to get the real-time data from us.

Which server you connect to with APEX is up to them. It makes no difference to us.

2. You can also get the Market Depth data for the CME exchange with the "CME with Market Depth for Non-Professionals". So if you only need data for instruments traded on the CME exchange, then we recommend changing to that exchange option for next month. Refer to the following:

The Trade Service Log is not showing any issues with trades. Did you try to place a trade, have it fail and then get us the log? The Trade Service Log is not persistent, so you need to have done a trade first and then get us the log.

The errors you do have in the log are stating that there are errors accessing those files. You will want to exit from Sierra Chart and then manually remove those files that are referenced through the operating system (i.e. go to that file location and delete the file).

We do want to point out that the particular drive that is being referenced appears to be a removable drive. It is a D: drive and the path starts with SanDisk. If that is a removable drive, then we do not recommend running Sierra Chart from such a location. You really want to have Sierra Chart on a local drive, and preferably a Solid State Drive.
