Why is my Denali data feed on 10 min. delay? - My SC acct is adequately funded. - non-professional certs are signed. - exchanges are activated. - have connected to Live Trading acct for April. - Data/Trade Service Settings are correct. I've researched documentation and done all self-help I can think of. What have I missed here? Need some help. Thank you. |

For some reason your connection to your Live Trading Account did not update properly. You can see the date you are verified until at the following link under the section for Verify Trading Account: https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=DenaliDataFeed#Exchanges So just try to make the connection again, but give it a full minute to make the connection. Thanks, John, but that did not work. Stayed connected to Rithmic for a few minutes. The link still says "expired," data still delayed. Request deeper drill-down. I notice at Account Control Panel >> Account Details, the last line = "Trading Accounts:" is blank. Could that be relevant here? |

working nicely now. Many thanks. One more quick question: If I forget to do the monthly verification I am simply put on delay rather than suddenly getting charged exorbitant CME professional fees for real time data. Is that correct? ______

Yes, this is correct, as you still have the Non-Professional exchange active, but you are unable to get the data from it, so instead you get the delayed streaming data. Hi John, I have the same issue as the original poster, my denali data feed is delayed 10 min for CME and I don't receive any data for EUREX. I have followed the procedure described to setup the denali data feed. I pay the exchange fees (CME and EUREX) through AMP so I don't know if that could be the issue, could you kindly check if there is something wrong with my account ? @User730867: You do not have any exchanges activated for the Denali Exchange Data Feed. If you want to have the Real-Time data even when you are not connected to your trading account, then you will need to activate the exchanges on our Denali Exchange Data Feed. You can do this from this page: https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=DenaliDataFeed#Exchanges Once you are getting the data from us, then you will not need to pay for the data from AMP (unless you are using it in another system). In which case, you can tell them to stop the data service for your account. Hi John, When I'm trying to activate the exchange on Denali Exchange Data Feed it stated "You must have a funded futures Trading account with one of the supported Trading Services and Sierra Chart must be connected to that account, to be able to use this exchange. Do *not* activate this exchange unless you have a funded futures trading account with one of the supported Trading Services because otherwise you will not receive real-time data with this particular exchange and Sierra Chart support will not be able to issue a refund." I currently don't have a supported trading service matching with SC and would like to get Real-Time Data from SC directly. Should I ignore the statement and proceed? Thanks! |

You should NOT ignore the statement and proceed. If you do, then you will pay the exchange fee but not be able to get the real-time data. This is a requirement of the CME Group, that you need to have a live, funded, futures trading account that we can connect to in order for you to qualify for the non-professional exchange fees. luke heinrich: Your account looks good, therefore you should be getting real-time data. Please check that the setting for Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings >> Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds is set to Yes. If it is set to No then change it to Yes and then select File >> Disconnect followed by File >> Connect to Data Feed and you should be fine after this and can skip the below information. But, we think the issue you are having is simply that the time zone is not set how you think, which is causing your data to show a one hour difference from what you are expecting. Please check the Time Zone for the chart by looking at the setting Chart >> Chart Settings >> Session Times >> Time Zone. Most often this is set to Use Global Time Zone. If it is not, then make sure the time zone is what you want and change it as needed. Otherwise, if it is set to Use Global Time Zone then check the setting Global Settings >> Time Zone Settings and make sure the time zone is set as you expect there and change if necessary. If you are still not getting the data as you expect then let us know what exactly is occurring and how far off the data is. ----------- Separately, we noticed that you have both the Full CME Group for Non-Professional Trading Accounts and the Full CME Group with Market Depth for Non-Professional Trading Accounts active for the Denali Exchange Data feed. You do not need both of these. If you need the Market Depth, then deactivate the exchange that does not include market depth and vice versa. You will want to take care of this before June 1 or you will be charged the exchange fees for both exchanges at that time. Is there any notice of Delayed in the Chart Header? Or do you have an item that says DD: in the Chart Header and if so what does it state? Also, are you getting data flowing, just 1 hour behind, or is the data stop and start? If it is flowing, but 1 hour behind then it has to be a time zone issue. What is the time zone of your chart set to? And if set to use Global Time Zone, then what is the Global Time Zone set to? Also, please give us a screenshot of your chart and let us know a time in the chart that is wrong and what time you expect it to be showing and why. I am having lagged data on my 5 minute charts. I have Denali activated and it was working till a few days ago. How do I debug why this is happening? I tried to look at this ticket to "allow suport for sierra charts" Disconnected/Reconnected and I am still having issues. I am not having data lag for NQ. Only for HG. HG (High Grade Copper) is traded on the COMEX exchange. You only have the "CME with Market Depth for Non-Professional Trading Accounts" active, so you will get the HG data as delayed streaming data.
