After initial login, the Rithmic connection will occasionally drop out, then reconnect. Looking at the log I can see what may be 3 error messages.
1. Rithmic Trading | Server Alert: Trading System Connection - Heartbeat has been quiet for 59.035 seconds.
2. Service connection timed out. Will disconnect and retry.
3. Error received in OnConnect while connecting. Windows error code 10061: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.
I am not sure if the problem is with Rithmic server or my computer. I did a "Send For Analysis" with my log. I would appreciate knowing if the problem was on my end or not. Thank You.

This is the relevant message.

This indicates there is a connectivity problem to the Rithmic server from your computer. Refer to help topic 1.2:

If you can use a service other than Rithmic that would be better.

So the first step is to resolve the connectivity problem but if you continue to have a problem, here are the other supported trading services:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/Data.php#Services

The other ones that would be comparable to Rithmic would be CQG or CTS. Your broker should be able to help you with this.

The basic problem is that it is very hard for us to support the Rithmic service because the connection is controlled by a black box external software program that we have no control over.

So we apologize for initially not being completely helpful with this .

We just realized to check the version you are running. You are running a significantly older version of Sierra Chart. Rithmic provided new connection details which probably will resolve this problem. These are in the newer versions of Sierra Chart.

You need to update Sierra Chart following these instructions here:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/download.php#FastUpdate

You cannot continue to use version 1307 even if you have a dependency on Old Spreadsheets if you want to use Rithmic.

Thank you for your responses. I will try updating first. If I continue to have problems, I now know what I will have to consider going forward.
