Hello support.
Periodically, there are problems with loading historical data (tick).
1 How can I fix the problem?
2 Whose responsibility similar problems (terminal support, support provider stories, support Internet provider, something between a chair and a computer monitor)?
Log file attached.
Thank you.

Wishes for future releases of the terminal:
1 Check against checksums of files on the terminal side. When passing values automatically re-upload history. (To avoid inaccuracies and loss of data).
2 If you can not get a story or errors in the history automatically otylat in support of the log or message. (For ustroneniya operational problems. Control efficiency).
3 In the log of the terminal to use the national language. (For a fuller understanding of the current situation, the problem).
4 Lines log timestamp set to the beginning of the line. In the log window to add a button to hide the timestamp. (For ease of reading the log).

We have an idea of what the problem is and we are going to make a change to allow for more tolerance on the historical data connection for CTS. Basically the problem is that there is no heartbeat message is received for over 60 seconds. This could be because it takes a long time to receive a day of tick data on your connection.

CTS FIX Historical Data: No heartbeat messages received from server. Sent Test Request message to server. | 2014-09-24 13:56:46

CTS FIX Historical Data: Disconnecting due to a loss of activity. No activity for at least 62 seconds. | 2014-09-24 13:57:56 *

CTS FIX Historical Data: Sending a Logout message. Text = No response received after Test Request. |

So we will double this time to 120 seconds.

Hello support.
Terminal version NoCLRPrerelease 1195 problem with loading history remained. Log attached.

Additional Information: The territory of residence has no optical lines (cables). All Internet service providers use satellite providers. Minimum Ping on the satellite segment of 500-600 milliseconds. Good Ping to servers on the territory of the United States in 700-1000 within milliseconds. In such a situation before loading history, you can check availability and connection speed?

Reason for edit update ping.

We have not yet done a new release.

We also need to make a correction to our prior post. We meant we will double the time to 120 seconds. Not 20 seconds.

We apologize for the delay. We just needed some time to think through this.

Based upon what we see here, and based on your Internet connection and how the CTS T4 system works, you cannot receive tick by tick data. We recommend setting the Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Intraday Data Storage Time Unit to 1 minute or 1 second.

We recommend trying 1 minute to begin with.

Once you change that setting go to the chart and select Edit >> Delete All Data and Download.

Hello support.
Market analysis, I use footprint. I need the tick history.
I already addressed a similar problem.
You answered that subscribers (package 5) will receive historical data from the Sierra Chart Historical Daily and Intraday Data Service.
After that, I got the data from the rare problems when downloading.
At the moment, I can not download historical tick even in the last session.

Question What has changed when providing historical data?
How will eliminate this problem?

We will solve this for you in version 1196 that we are releasing in about an hour.

If your Sierra Chart account is on service package 5, which is the case for you, and Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds, is enabled, then the historical data will be downloaded from the Sierra Chart server.
