[Locked] - something very bad just happened and I need my trade logs

john, You will find attached a note I just sent to a friend and this gives you all the detail you need. I was gone and left 2 bracket orders in micro nq. The second fill and the subsequent stop I am NOT questioning. You see that I got long on 2nd AFTER the bounce so my full 40 tick stop and slippage is absolutely mine. BUT something is very wrong w the first order. I got filled as you can see by the activity report BEFORE it makes a 13pt or 52 ticks bounce. I had a bracket order as you will see in the attachment. I also had as you can see the 2-step 'move to breakeven' My second step clearly says 'move the be to 10 ticks in profit when the trigger hits 33 ticks'. It did exactly that! Moving not only 33 ticks but a total of 52 ticks before reversing. The stop was obviously NOT moved and executed. WHY????? You must have access to exact trading logs. As you are based on TT I know from my 20yrs with them I could access that instantly. How did my bracket order with BE stops get ignored? I need to see exactly as I am working on an algo and I cannot have your order entry ignoring what I clearly have put in the bracket. I want the exact execution logs please. I cannot see I did anything wrong. I have returned, and thus not touched the trading dom so it is exactly as I left it when I entered the orders with CLEARLY indicated 2 step move to BE. Please get back to me asap as this is a big big thing. Thanks |

You need to look at your "Trade Activity Log" and see what orders were in place at the time and what it states about each of these and when they were filled and why. Refer to the following: Trade Activity Log: Viewing Historical Trade Activity We do not work with TT any longer. We were working with them for our "Sierra Chart Order Routing Service", but that ended at least 1 year ago when we came out with our "Teton Order Routing Service", which is our own direct connection to the CME Group exchanges. It is this latter one that you are using. All of the information on the orders and fills is in the Trade Activity Log. John, There is nothing here. I saw the parent and child orders in before I left. I adjusted the 'move to breakeven' before I entered the order. the order did not respect what I entered. All this activity says is filled. It shows nothing about the 'move to breakeven' which you can clearly see is set and the parameters met. I HAVE NOT TOUCHED THIS DOM SINCE I RETURNED. So explain to me how my order with 'step 1 and 2' clearly marked and levels entered ignored it??? |

The items at the top of the Trade Activity Log are filters. The first one at the upper left filters what kind of information you want to see. Right now, it is set to "Fills". Set this to "All Activity" and you will then be able to see all the things that occurred while the orders were in place - including any changes to the Stop that should have occurred (or maybe did not - we do not know). The information is all in these logs, you just need to sift through the data to figure it out.

do you get what I am saying? the part of the order where I tell it too use the 'move to breakeven 2 step' WAS IGNORED. I know it was entered as I can clearly see it on the dom and I have NOT CHANGED ANYTHING ON DOM. How do we investigate this as this is serious. A part of my instruction on my order was ignored. |

john I found it and it was ignored, this would be a lot easier if we could talk on the phone. look at the recored. It clearly shows I entered a bracket with the steps to be option. It shows the price of trigger etc. You can see from the chart the triggers clearly should have been activated. They were NOT. This is serious. Somehow those instructions in yellow brackets were ignored!!!! SHOW ME OTHERWISE IF THAT ISN'T WHAT IT IS SAYING |

someone who really understands this line by line needs to review that order. Clearly, it was told to use the 'be trigger' option. You can see clear as can be. clearly, it was ignored. Someone who understands this needs to see what happened during the trade itself. Why weren't the yellow highlighted instructions followed???? there must be someone as SC who understands all the detail of the activity file. How do I send you this file for your team to review? |

I have sent the activity log to Ian Blank at Edge, my clearer, to have one of their clearing guys go over it too. Again John, why is my request for 2 step BE clearly listed in the activity log and detailed YET it was ignored... going to bed now, thank you so much for looking into this. I sure hope I have messed up and it's not a bug in SC. Karen |

We are declining support here. We are not going to get involved in this. You need to do your own analysis. This would have to be something that is chargeable, and really it is impossible for us to analyze things like this after the fact . An order is an order. It has a side, a quantity, an order type. It will fill according to its parameters and how the exchange fills it. This thread is locked. You are now banned from this board permanently. Another thing to be aware of is move to breakeven functionality, will not work, if Sierra Chart is not running. Or if your computer is in a sleep state. Or it will not work if the data feed has been lost or if the connection to the trading server has been lost. This is client-side functionality.
