Sierra Chart Historical Data Feed Indices (from Barchart) Not Downloading

I'm trying look at some market breadth indicators for the Russell and S&P, but they either fail to download or have missing data. I checked TradingView for similar data just to double check data availability and had no issues seeing latest data on their website. In Sierra Chart, I run into the following issues for a select sample...

$R1TW - download failed
$R2TW - data available until 6/17, but expected data up to today (TradingView had data up to today)
$R3TW - data available until 6/17, but expected data up to today (TradingView had data up to today)
$R1OH - download failed
$R2OH - download failed
$R3OH - download failed
$R2FI - download failed
$S5TW - download failed

This is a small sample. I've had no issues seeing the TradingView. I don't know how many other symbols in the "https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SierraChart_RealTime_And_Historical_Symbols.php&SymbolsPage=Indices" page don't work and I don't want to go through everything just in case there may be a common cause for many of these. Any idea what's could be the problem? Thanks!

We cannot help with these particular symbols. If you do not get data for those, then it is definitely not something we would provide any technical help for.

We only support these market statistics:

Thank you for the response, SC Engineering team! If I read that post correctly, all the indices that I'm interested in are coming from BarChart then via the SC Historical/Real-Time data feed. If this is the case and everything on the SC side is working perfectly, would you mind if I contact BarChart directly on behalf of Sierra Chart as a "user of the data" to see if their data feed to you is at fault? A handful of indices supported by that page are important to my analysis and I'd rather have everything within SC instead of using 2 charting services. And if by chance it helps our community of users, I'm willing to spend some time resolving it myself.

Yes will be fine.

We do believe that in the case of Russell-based indices, that Barchart has no authorization to distribute that data.

Barchart was able to confirm that the symbols I listed were being populated appropriately in their system. They bounced me back to SC for any additional information. I don't know if a message log dump helps at all, but here it is for when I try to download any of those symbols. I have my data/trade settings set to Support SC data feeds so I wouldn't expect this. If those symbols are no longer supported for whatever reason, it would be helpful if they're removed from the supported symbols page for the SC Historic Data Feed (https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SierraChart_RealTime_And_Historical_Symbols.php&SymbolsPage=Indices). Thanks again!

I too have difficulty opening historical daily charts for many symbols on the instance that connects to SC data- all service.

Here is one of the log taken for reference:

I believe that this is the same issue as the original poster since I am also subscribing to the Sierra Chart exchange data feed.

SC engineering team, would you assist to contact Barchart in order to resolve this issue for my account as well?

Thank you.

I am seeing this same error when trying to download data for $IUXX. This should simply be included if I'm using Denali, right? FWIW, I have data that downloaded as recently as last Monday but all of a sudden I can't get any new intraday data. I have updated global symbol settings and re-connected, with the same result. According to this link, I would think these should be working: Reduced Listing of $ Barchart Index Symbols

NASDAQ indexes are no longer available through Barchart. We heard from Barchart that NASDAQ is now requiring licensing and exchange fees for these indexes.

So they are no longer available. And we are not offering them directly any longer.

I might have a similar problem with barchart data that does not show the current week:
I loaded a single chart and used the "delete and download date" entry in the right-click context menu receiving the log postet below.
The critical line seems to be: "2024-07-13 04:09:17.796 | HD Request # 837 | Received 56 Daily data records from 2024-04-18 00:00:00 to 2024-07-09 00:00:00 (83.0 days) and wrote 56 records for $MMFI"

We might be able to get $MMFI added back.

We will check on it but definitely we do not have the Japan exchange. We will make the changes now for the Interactive Brokers symbol settings to remove the historical data provided by Sierra Chart for those symbols.

Regarding post #14, there are no symbol mappings, to Barchart historical data, for those symbols. So you must have set this up. This data is no longer available and we cannot provide further help.

Thank you for looking into this.

The $MMFI symbol is one of many that Barchart offers in the field of "market breadth" indicators

These can be found under the following pages, where a variety of symbols is available which can be found clicking one the little question mark names "details. (see symbols in the attached text file)
https://www.barchart.com/stocks/momentum

Then there is another set of market breadth indicators for percentage of stocks that are above certain SMAs on the following page
https://www.barchart.com/stocks/market-performance

So all of them were available up to July 9, 2024. Has anything changed since then? Would be great to be able to use all those symbols.

It is a different data feed but the following symbol does also not update since July 1, 2024: RVX_CGI

Market Breadth indicators are now available again.

We will check on this but this may no longer be available because the CBOE index feed has different categories. We may no longer be providing this category related to licensing requirements and fees:
