Problem with 2 instances using Teton CME order routing and Denali data (One freezes)

I am currently using Teton Order routing (in the Data/trade service settings) and using Clearing firm Iron Beam. I have enabled my Denali data feed to run the CME non professional (top of book) data and also enabled the use of 2 systems and paid the additional fee (total $2.50 or 1.25 each) , when I run 2 separate instances of Sierra chart with the same username (ADRT Ventures) they both connect however the machine that connects first works, its quotes/prices move in realtime and the one that connects 2nd just has frozen quotes and prices don't move ones it completes historical download. Realtime quotes are not running simultaneously on both machines so I cannot use 2 systems at the same time since when one is connected the other one freezes. I have the DTS sent to Teton CME order routing on both machines (with Ironbeam as clearing firm) and both instances are connected & show green on the top left. In common settings I also have "allow support for sierra chart data feeds" set to "YES" on both. If set one to "no" they it pushes it back to delayed quotes. Is there something else I need to do? I have 2 account#s with Iron beam and would like to use them on 2 different machines with same username simultaneously, everything seems to work and run except for the quote or prices on the chart on one of the 2 instances. please advise

You should not be having this issue given everything that you have stated, and we verified that you do have the option for "2 systems" for the Denali Exchange Data Feed.

Please get us the Message Log for the system that is NOT connecting at the moment, but following these instructions:

Follow the instructions here to clear the Message Log:
Message Log: Clearing the Message Log

Close all of the Chartbooks with "File >> Close All Chartbooks".

Open a single chart for the symbol you have an issue with through "File >> Find Symbol". Tell us that symbol of the chart. Tell us about *one* symbol only.

Disconnect from the data feed with "File >> Disconnect".

Connect to the data feed with "File >> Connect to Data Feed".

After the connection and after about 10 seconds, provide a copy of the Message Log following these instructions:
Support Board Posting Information: How to Post Your Message Log (Required In Some Cases)

We will then determine what the problem is.

I went to the message log to follow instructions and noticed that it said that I had more than 2 connections when max is (was showing 3). At that time I was running SC on 4 machines (as is allowable in my total number of systems). The other 2 systems were not using the denali/teton services and were to a completely different system like Interactive brokers so I did not think they could affect this issue since I only had 2 machines connected to the the Teton/Denali feed. I then shutdown ALL instances and opened only the 2 i use with Teton and it seems to be working now.
Does it make any sense that I cannot use the remaining two available instance I have paid for in the control panel with different clearing firm and data service without it causing me a problem? could it because i swithched one the machines between services and the connection remained open there so it showed 3 open connections?
sorry if this situation seems confusing.

We understand the situation.

Keep in mind that Teton and Denali are two different things. Teton is the order routing service and Denali is our data service. You do need to use the Denali data feed when using Teton, but that is the only connection.

Therefore, what you need to do is to set the option for "Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings >> Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds" to "No" in the instances where you want to connect to a particular trading service and get the data from them. Or, if you want to get the Delayed Streaming Data instead of the Real-Time data. In these cases, since you are not getting the real-time data from our Denali feed, these will not count towards connections to Denali.

Yes i fully understand now thanks. I do have a question, since I do have capability to run 4 instances if SC in general, is there a way to run more than 2 instances using the denali feed? currently there is only an option to enable 2 systems in the activate services section.

No you cannot do that. The exchanges will not allow that.
