I'm trying to figure out how to use SC for placing orders with APEX funded trader accounts while still having data thru SC (Apex uses Rithmic). Is there a way to do this? If so, then how does this work with each funded account since I want to trade 3 accounts at a time (i.e. trade copier) that I use with Ninja Trader? First step... Can I still use Denali data AND somehow place trades directly in SC for my APEX accounts? It so, how do I do that? |

You have to use the workaround and open a funded trading account with sierra approved brokers to oblige the CME funded account rule, thats all you need it for. Then once thats approved, and you are good, you connect apex via your rithmic username and pass. that will sync your apex account and you will be able to trade straight from sierra. sierra has a built in setting to link all accounts and trade across them at once. Its built in. not like the copier on ninja. You simply turn it on, set the accounts to link and done.

Yes. Thank you! I can change to Rithmic data and I can see my APEX accounts... but I don't get data. If I change it back to SC data, then I get live data... But I can't see my apex accounts / place trades. Here's a quick video of the issue: https://youtu.be/4h2rquKiVIM P.S. I pay the professional price for data already. To be clear, I want to continue to pay Sierra fees for data... AND be able to place trades in APEX / Rithmic. I tried messing with making "Rithmic" my data feed and it crashed the program and I get the attached error. It wanted me to reinstall.. and I had to... and I changed the data back to SC immediately. I'm a bit scared that changing data to Rithmic & "perform symbol rollover" will crash it again. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2023-06-20 22:43:50

What exactly do you mean by this?: crashed the program
And this makes no sense either: It wanted me to reinstall.
There is nothing in Sierra Chart which would tell you to reinstall.Make sure the symbols are set correctly by translating them with this Edit menu command: Edit Menu: Edit >> Translate Symbols To Current Service If you need more help: Follow the instructions here to clear the Message Log: Message Log: Clearing the Message Log Close all of the Chartbooks with "File >> Close All Chartbooks". Open a single chart for the symbol you have an issue with through "File >> Find Symbol". Tell us that symbol of the chart. Tell us about *one* symbol only. Disconnect from the data feed with "File >> Disconnect". Connect to the data feed with "File >> Connect to Data Feed". After the connection and after about 10 seconds, provide a copy of the Message Log following these instructions: Support Board Posting Information: How to Post Your Message Log (Required In Some Cases) We will then determine what the problem is. ---- Regarding videos: Support Board Posting Information: Do Not Post Videos Unless Requested! I sent the message log. Here's a video of what I did as well: https://youtu.be/JeYD1SzHeW0 I opened the chartbook (it loads with SC Data). Then you can see what I click on in the video... I just change the data to Rithmic. I ended the video early, but the program did crash again (see attached screenshot). This time it didn't ask me to download the installer when I reopened it. But the Rithmic data did not load. |

The crash you are referring to is a not responding condition. Refer to: High CPU Usage | Inactive User Interface | Poor Performance | Long Time to Load Chart Data | Charts Reloading Often: 30.16 - What to do if Sierra Chart is in a frozen state for an extended time due to extended high CPU usage caused by an automatically or m Do not use your existing Chartbook any longer until that problem can be resolved with it. You are also not using Rithmic data. You are using the Denali Data Feed from Sierra Chart. To ensure this is the case: Set "Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings >> Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds" to Yes. If you have changed this setting, then reconnect to the data feed after by selecting 'File >> Reconnect". Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Thanks! It was a data issue. After removing charts from my chartbook, it loaded and I can trade on Rithmic and it affects my APEX prop accounts now. I did get the trade allocator to work... for future folks who might read this thread. Click the small M in the Trade Window... Settings, Order Allocation... then select the account at the top pull down and click ADD. That adds it to the bottom section. Click yes to allocate trades. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2023-06-27 16:22:27
