When I log on to my Transact account once per month to keep from paying duplicate exchange fees I am still getting connection error with the Transact websocket. I am using Sierra Chart package 5 (version 1983) directly from Sierra. Do I have to download a earlier version such as 1941 to make this connection with Transact. Thanks |

Transact did say they did properly authorize your account to connect. We will get this sorted for you. For some reason I am not getting any real time data now even though the tab on top is green suggesting I am connected.

Yes you will not receive the real time CME data due to CME requirements until you confirm you have an authorized trading account through a technical method. This is why you need to connect to your trading account once a month. It is not to remove duplicate exchange fees. It is to authorize CME data. During my conversations with Transact tonight I was informed by them that Sierra chart had me authorized for package 3 and not package 5. I informed them I was paying for my charting and data directly from Sierra. They told me it did not matter and that sierra only authorized me for package 3. He said he would opt me in to package 5. Why do they having to authorize my use of sierra charts if I pay directly to sierra. Anyhow he sent me a end user agreement saying the fee is 29.95 per month plus a risk liquidation fee. What is all this? It appears like Transact will be deducting these fees from my account. Am I right to question this stuff? I do not to be billed by both Transact and Sierra for charting and exchange fees.
