The options for the CTS feed are confusing, please help clarify:

1. To set up CTS feed for Sierrachart through Amp, Amp charges $10/mo. You also charge $10/mo, is the $10/mo billed twice/to both?

2. Possible to use the $10/mo CTS feed for data to Sierra, and not Sierrachart Exchange feed for $25/mo extra?

3. What's the lowest cost solution to get CTS on Sierra (Amp?) including platform, CME data, CTS feed charge, and data feed charge, how much is it total/mo, can CTS T4 Desktop/Mobile work with this, and how do I set that up?

1. When using the new low-cost connection model to CTS, this is the case. We do not know what the $10 is from AMP.

2. No, if you are using the low-cost connection model to CTS.

3. Use the standard FIX connection model documented here:

This does not require the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed.

You will need to ask AMP about the costs. These are going to be controlled by them. But you will pay a higher per trade fee in this case.

Yes you can you CTS T4 and mobile. Contact CTS for help with that.

CTS Live login is working on CTS T4, but not in the Amp provided Sierrachart, getting this error:

"CTS T4 FIX | Connection to non-affiliated broker not allowed. | 2017-10-16 15:03:01 *"

Amp does not seem to know what the issue is, does this mean I need to enable CTS access on the Sierrachart account for the extra $10/mo to Sierrachart also?

We apologize for this. We now realize that you did provide the complete Message Log and that the way that particular message is generated is different compared to other services.

The reason for this problem is due to a programming error. And we also see that the ports were being blocked for the low-cost connection model for AMP.


This is now resolved. Update to the latest Prerelease following the instructions here:

Persisting on latest Prerelease, same message log errors as above, on both:

1. CTS T4 FIX [trading]
2. CTS Trading AMP - DTC [trading]

Which one should I be using? I am using Amp provided Sierra, with Amp provided CTS T4 FIX connection, not SC Low Cost Connection model which requires SC Exchange Feed.

Also FYI the DTS settings don't save the setting for Live Server, needs to be set back from Sim every time.

The service you should be using is named: CTS T4 FIX [trading] .

We set your account to use the CTS Live server and not the Simulation server.

We tested again, and we do not notice the error related to a nonaffiliated broker.

Make sure that Global Settings >>Data/Trade Service Settings >> Service Setting >> Firm is set to AMP.

If you still have a problem, then you may not be on the latest revision. Update again with Help >> Download Prerelease.

Yes, that is how I did it through Help>Download Prerelease. It will no longer update again because it did update to latest Prerelease 1624 the first time you suggested it.
