Data not updating correctly

Hi, I seem to be having a problem recently in that data isn't getting updated correctly.

I normally use the associated watch list to quickly scan charts but recently I've found that the data between the time's I've viewed a chart isn't being displayed. The only way I can get this data back is by selecting 'delete and download data' every time I view the chart.

Below is a screenshot, the problem in this instance is no data between 8.25 & 14.20
http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?l=1375190186266.png

If I leave the chart open it updates fine.
I can't see any error messages or connection errors in the message log.
Data feed I'm using is SC Forex Data(FXCM)

This isn't a one off occurrence either, it seems to be happening every time I go back to view a chart.

Can you please assist?

Regards
Steve

To make sure that Sierra Chart will maintain chart data for the symbols you are following add them to Edit >> Intraday File Update List:

This is unusual. Next time this happens, let us know the time it happens (in the time zone setting of Sierra Chart) and the symbol. At that time post a copy of the Message Log, by following these steps:

Hi,

I've got another example of the problem again this morning. Please see info as requested.
Note, I did close Sierra Chart and re-open it to see if it cleared the issue before I copied the below message log.

Screenshot: http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?l=1375344786220.png
The issue on this occasion is between 7.15 & 9.10
Timezone: London (+0 GMT/+1 BST)
Symbol: GBPJPY

I'm starting to think it's some sort of issue with the way the scanner is working on associated watch lists.
I've got about 40 symbols in a list. On this occasion every symbol at the top halve of the list is fine whilst every symbol in the bottom halve has the data between 7.15 & 9.10 missing.

We have looked this over. And we did not get the information needed because you had restarted Sierra Chart.

What we need to know is when you change the symbol of the chart, do you see a message on the chart that says "Downloading Historical Data". If an Intraday data download was previously done for the symbol since last connecting to the data feed, then you will not see this message.

Make sure you have Global Settings >> General Settings >> Show on Chart Status Messages enabled.

We probably will need to get your Chartbook in order to test this. If you still have problems, please provide it, by following these steps:

Hi,

I'm having issues again today. This time its the historical/daily.
I've done a complete re-install today renaming the original SierraChart folder and then running the install file to install in a new SierraChart folder.
I've uploaded a complete message log file and attached a newly created chartbook that still has the problem.
Screenshot can be found at: http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?l=1375706683687.png
In this example, SierraChart is displaying and updating in realtime under yesterdays date. Out of 28 currency pairs only GBPCAD & GBPNZD are showing todays date (5th).
This time selecting Edit -> 'Delete All Data And Download' doesn't fix the problem.
I do see the 'Downloading Historical Data' message in a yellow box followed by 'Historical Download Complete' in a green box when downloading both intraday & daily data for the relevant periods.

I'm going to try the pre-release and an older version now to see if they make any difference.

UPDATE: Versions 1005 & 996 display the same issue and this time all I've done to test is open a new chartbook and then use 'Find Symbol' to open a chart.

This is normal because the FXCM daily data starts on Sunday. They provide separate data for Sunday. This is explained in more detail here:
