Hi, I am unable to get connected to any data, the status bar just shows the yellow connecting message and never connects. Copy of the log below. Thanks for your reply. I have tried everything suggested but nothing worked. I only have windows firewall and it wouldn't work with it off or in safe mode. Adding the programs to the firewall safe list didn't help either. I should have explained that the program was working earlier last week on the same network and to my knowledge nothing has changed since. I checked with OEC and there are no issues on their side. There is little doubt, there is something blocking the connection somewhere on your network or with the ISP you are using. Are you connecting from a work network? it is from a hotel but I have already been online with SC here and for that matter all over the world at various places and haven't had this issue. How do I check port 9400 isn't blocked? |

Hi, I had to reformat my hard drive and reload the SC software. Still have issues getting a data connection. I checked with OEC who gave the following feed back; I do not see successful connections from Sierra Chart but the user is enabled on my end. I would double check credentials, make sure server is set to prod.openecry.com. If still unsuccessful, have the user reach out to Sierra Charts. That's from OEC Tech. Maybe the server is not set correctly. And then further feedback after they reviewed login; One thing I noticed is this line at the beginning: USAGE TIME HAS ENDED. SIERRA CHART IS IN FREE MODE. FEATURES ARE RESTRICTED. THEN YOU HAVE YOUR CURRENT SERVICE PACKAGE DOES NOT SUPPORT THIS FUNCTION. Can you please review and let me know what the fix is?
