Hello guys I have been trying to trouble shoot this account and cant get it to log in with my top step trader login info and was wondering if you could help. I copied and pasted my log below: thanks

Are you running any third-party firewall software on your computer? So this would be firewall software other than the Windows firewall.

ya i have AVG and im pretty sure it has a firewall ??? possibly this is the issue?? ill try and and see what i can do about that.

i temporarily disabled avg until the next restart and it appears to still be having issues.

Ive had a sierra chart account earlier in the year and it was hooked up through a different email address when i did the top step trader combine before. THAT account was Tmoney2014 and my new one that i wanted to use which is the one we've been troubleshooting here is TLawTheTrader ]

The Rithmic software is not compatible on Windows XP. You need Windows 7.

really? is this something that is true as of a new update to sierra chart or something because I was using this same computer earlier in the year with sierra chart installed just fine and also running a TST combine. ??

Previously you must have been using CTS T4. Not Rithmic.

This limitation is not Sierra Chart specific. It is from the Rithmic software. Rithmic uses what is known as an in process API component.

I contacted TST and Cait helped me out over there by switching me back to the CTS T4 feed and NOT the Rithmic data so Im connected and running on SC now, however, there is one more issue before im completely ready to trade.... a box comes up with a technical notice saying something about the instrument list needing to be updated and i cant figure out how. the prompt says also to click help- download current version but when i attempt this, it says i have the latest already. please help with this last piece of the puzzle and ill promise to leave you guys alone :) thanks again.

That message can be ignored because you are already on a version higher than 1120.

What you need to do is open a chart or Trade DOM through File >> Find Symbol.

hello again guys... i need your help again please. the above issues were fixed and i was able to trade successfully the last couple months... however, there was an issue with one of my payments at topstep and they shut off the account.... upon reactivating the account that was supposed to start over this afternoon (dec 14th) im having connection errors again now with this data feed and dont know how to pin point where the error is coming from. please help me figure this out? thank you. : )
