Hello,

I am experiencing an issue with the volume data in Numbers Bars on Sierra Chart. The volume data (e.g., cumulative delta and footprint trades) only populates from the moment I open the Chartbook, but historical volume data is missing.

I have verified that all relevant settings for historical data download are correctly configured, and my setup is the same as before. The only difference is that I am now running Sierra Chart on a remote server instead of my desktop.

I have tried:

Checking Chart Settings and Data/Trade Service Settings to ensure historical tick and market depth data are enabled.
Manually forcing a data reload using Edit → Delete and Download Data and Chart → Reload and Recalculate (Ctrl+Shift+R).
Ensuring the data feed is fully connected and that I am receiving real-time tick data.
Verifying that the data folder is correctly set and accessible on the remote server.
Despite these checks, historical volume data still does not load when I reopen the Chartbook. Could you please assist in troubleshooting this issue?

Thank you for your help.

To begin with, you are not setup to get any real-time data from us.

What is "Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Main Settings >> Current Selected Service" set to?

And what is the symbol for the chart you show in the image? We need the exact symbol as it is entered in "Chart >> Chart Settings >> Symbol >> Symbol".

We do not understand how you are getting any data at all. Sierra Chart does not have connectivity with CQG for data from the CME Group and EUREX, so you should not be getting any data, since you are not setup to get the data from us.

In the end, the solution is to use the data from our Denali Exchange Data Feed. You have used this previously, so you just need to activate the exchange(s) for which you want the real-time data at the following link:

Also, it looks like you are running an older version of the software. We recommend updating to the latest release by following these instructions:

Hi John, I have bought the Denali data feed and applied with AMP to get CQG connection, routing only.
Now it looks like I can get the Cumulative delta, but footprint is still a mess.
Picture attached.
Any advise please?

What is the symbol of that chart?

Also, if that data is from prior to your setting up the Denali Exchange Data Feed, then you would need to redownload the data by selecting "Edit >> Delete All Data and Download". You will need to do this once for each symbol, not for each chart. Refer to the following:
Edit Menu: Edit >> Delete All Data And Download

There is no reason to be using CQG if you are just trading the CME Group. Use Teton order routing:
