Dear Sierra Chart Support Team,

I encountered an issue today related to order execution, and I’m seeking your guidance to understand the behavior and find a solution. Here are the details of the problem:

Issue:
I had an active 1-lot long position in EUR (6E) in the account XGEA31_01. However, when a flatten position signal was triggered for EUR, the account selected in the signal was XGEA31. Despite the position being in XGEA31_01, the flatten position action executed on the 1-lot long position in XGEA31_01, which I did not expect.

Additionally, even after the flatten position action was executed, the system still shows the XGEA31_01 EUR long position as open. I have attached a screenshot for your reference.

My Concern:
I would like to understand:

Why the flatten position action targeted and executed for the XGEA31_01 account instead of the selected XGEA31 account.
Why the XGEA31_01 EUR long position still shows as open despite the flatten action being executed.
I have attached the following files to assist with your investigation:

Trade Orders
Trade Service Log
Screenshot of the spreadsheet configuration for the flatten signal for XGEA31
Screenshot showing the XGEA31_01 EUR long position still open
I would appreciate it if you could review this and provide an explanation of the behavior and a potential solution to ensure this does not occur in the future.

Thank you for your time and assistance.

We do not have enough information to understand what occurred. In particular, we do not see anything that specifically shows the flatten command and the account it was associated with.

Please get us your Trade Activity file that covers the time you are referencing. Refer to the following:

We are not seeing any crossover between the orders from account XGEA31 to XGEA31_01.

The orders we see related to 6E are for different charts. For the XGEA31 account, the 6E chart is a Daily chart, whereas for the XGEA31_01 account, the chart is a 240 minute chart.

As far as we can tell, the appropriate Flatten and Cancel orders were given for each chart individually. Although in the case of the Daily chart associated with account XGEA31 the chart did not have a position and therefore the Flatten and Cancel did not do anything for that chart.

in the case of the Daily chart associated with account XGEA31 the chart did not have a position even though as you can see in previously attached files there is an order executed in account XGEA31 for the flatten signal
