I trade EURUSD with futures (6E chart on M6E contracts). I'd like to look at EURUSD forex chart while having a "6E/M6E trade window", so I can enter/exit quickly without having to switch chart. I can't find a way to do it in Sierra Chart, the only way it worked is by minimizing the Windows, detaching the "6E/M6E trade window" and placing it to the left of EURUSD chart, but the moment I switch tab to manage the trade, I lose the "6E/M6E trade window" when I switch back to EURUSD, so it's useless. I tried to use the chart link feature to test by linking trading windows, and I've messed up something. I've set both EURUSD 6E/M6E to link #1 with Trade Window to YES. It didn't work, I set back the link # to zero for both charts, and NO to trade window in the linking tab. I can no longer place any orders on 6E/M6E chart. I followed the documentation to restore a backup from yesterday files, and it didn't work. I closed the 6E/M6E chart, and reconfigured everything on a new 6E/M6E chart, still not working. Market orders, stop orders, limit orders are not working. I've been trying to fix the issue for 2 hours, and I can't place a trade anymore if I use the trade and current quote symbol functionality. The fact that you included an image of your Trade Activity Log confuses us. Are you saying that the orders are showing in the Trade Activity Log? If so, then what exactly is the problem? If the orders are not showing in the Trade Activity Log, then we would need to see your Trade Service Log after you try to place an order and have a problem. The reason I included the Trade Activity log is that you can see the pattern. Example, A sell market order is executed, but the stop order is instantly executed/filled with an average fill price of 10313 instead of 1.03. The instant I place any order, the stop order is instantly executed (so I can't enter in any trade). It's completely messed up. Everything was fine before I've tried to use the chart link feature with trade window, but I restored everything, new backup from yesterday, deleted the chart/created a new chart, and it still doesn't work. We see that you posted and deleted, but the information in that post is important. The settings we told you to set when using the Trade and Current Quote Symbol are only valid when you are connected to the Teton Order Routing Service. What is your "Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Current Selected Service" set to?

Teton CME routing, I've never modified that field. The only thing I modified was Chart linking EURUSD and 6E/M6E both to #1, and I linked trading window. I've removed the link after, and created new 6E/M6E chart from scratch. The post I deleted mentionned that if Trade and Current Quote Symbol Price Multiplier is set to 0, it works, but in reality, it doesn't because the order prices are still in the 10000 instead of around 1.03. I've been trying to fix this for 3 hours. Linking the trade windows with EURUSD clearly did damage somewhere. Thanks again. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2025-01-17 21:27:26

After many tests and hours trying to fix it, the "Trade and Current Quote Symbol" feature is not working properly on 6E/M6E forex futures because of the bracket order, it's a Sierra Chart bug. The bracket order is the problem because they don't get executed with the correct multiplier (Trade and Current Quote Symbol Price Multiplier). Only the INITIAL market order is executed with the correct multiplier, not the bracket orders, so even though the initial market orders are properly executed, the position get cancelled instantly because the incorrect bracket orders get filled instantly. Sell Market Bracket: As you can see in the attached screenshot, when I do a sell market with attached bracket order, the initial sell market order is executed correctly and filled at 1.0436 in this example, but a buy stop is instantly executed at 10436 which instantly close the position. Buy Market Bracket: For a buy market with attached bracket order, the initial buy market order is executed correctly and filled at 1.0437 in this example, but a sell limit is instantly executed at 10437 which instantly close the position. Can you please fix the issue that bracket orders don't get the correct multiplier? Also you cannot use the Trade and Current Quote Symbol during a chart replay. This will cause a problem. The documentation linked above explains that. There is not any issue for us to fix. Wow, this answer is very unprofessional and scary. "There is not any issue for us to fix." I've proved to you with screenshots that there is a bug, and you are saying there are no issue to fix without any fact supporting your wrong statement? This is how Sierra Chart handle bugs? I even took many hours of my time to test everything out to find exactly where the bug was (in the bracket orders). I've saved you a lot of time/diagnostic by doing this.I've also already uploaded the chart settings which are exactly like the required setting for 6E/M6E in the Teton link: Use As Trade Only Symbol: yes Price Display Format: .00001 Tick Size: .0001 Trade and Current Quote Symbol Price Multiplier: 1 Can you escalate this problem to a manager? You are already communicating with top development. There is not a bug here. That is 100% impossible. Or at least it is something, which is unresolvable and unsupported what you are doing. Are you doing trading during a chart replay? This is not supported with this configuration. There may even be a problem in simulation mode. But it is not something we can fix. Inherently this was an impossibility. It was looked at previously. But it should only be an issue with chart replay. We will check on that. You are not going to have any trouble with live trading. Anyway we are going to update the documentation at this time, and say that the configuration you are using is just not supported in simulation mode whether doing a chart replay or not. We did a test in Trade Simulation. All of the order prices are definitely correct. That is what is most important. The fill price for the stop is not correct. In the case of Trade Simulation Mode you need to set this to No: Chart Settings: Use as Trade Only Symbol (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Symbol >> Symbol menu) This will resolve the issue. There really is no other solution to this. We will update the documentation on this. You will not have a problem with live trading. What we recommend you do is that for simulated trading, install another copy of Sierra Chart: Using Multiple Data and Trading Services at the Same Time And set it to use SC Data-AllServices. Set "Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Current Selected Service" to "SC Data-All Services". Hello, to answer your question, I've never used the replay function, only simulation and live trading. I confirm the problem was "Use As Trade Only Symbol: yes". It must be set to "no" on simulator mode. I think it should be specified in the documentation that this setting must be set to yes only for live trading (not simulation mode) because people will test out the functionality in simulation before going live, and it's not going to work. I just have one more issue though. In simulation, the bracket order are placed as a stop market (stoploss) and limit (target), as they should be. In live trading, without changing anything, the stoploss is a stop limit order instead of a normal stop market order even though it's set as a stop order and not stop limit order. I've uploaded a screenshot the bracket order configuration, am I missing something? I'd like to have a regular stop market order for my stop loss. Thanks. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2025-01-21 16:31:19
