Orders don't cancel

I have the issue that sometimes my orders doesnt get cancelled or modified. i just cannot understand why, the issue isn't with my internet because i already had this problem from 3 different places & even when i was on vacation. it isn't the broker either, i already had different ones too & the same issue. Today i lost 800$ because sierra didnt send the Stopp-loss, how can something like that happen? i was pressing cancel & flatten like crazy but nothing worked, why does this keeps happening? im sorry that im so direct but it really makes me angry to always have to fear that my positions doesnt work like i want them to. it really is annoying to always think hopefully this time it cancels my order or it triggers the Stopploss. just why? im paying good money yearly to have sierra work & i get screwed over by it!

i added a picture from the log, please explain to me why this isnt working or i will change my software, i cannot bear any longer to get stressed out by something like this in an already emotional depending field.

what can i do to prevent it, can i make some connection checks, make a simulation order or something?

Our strong overwhelming recommendation is do not use Rithmic!

Once again do not use Rithmic.

If you have to use Rithmic, and you do not want the problem then please discontinue the use of Sierra Chart. We cannot help at all with this. This is strictly a Rithmic issue. It is clear from the log, there are not acknowledgments to your order commands from the Rithmic system. It could be due to connectivity but we have no control over that.

This is a common problem we see with Rithmic.

Thank you for the respond. i will consider which option is best for me, as a funded trader i am forced to use rhitmic, there is no way around it. Everey propfirm you can get funded forces you to use rhitmic, so while i do love sierra chart i may have to quit the platform.

Hi Sierra Support, I have an issue with my simulated orders not cancelling. I've tried to cancel them from the trade order window and they don't cancel whether or not I'm in simulation mode or out of simulation mode. These simulation orders were first placed on 6/5/2024 and unable to cancel since. Can you please help?

I also trade APEX Rithmic and sometimes for example the Target order does not get cancelled when position is exited by stop-loss

No worries, order is cancelled on the Rithmic side. If you reconnect SC the order is not present anymore

Are these Rithmic orders? Looks like it from the screen image you provided.

All of these issues in the above three posts, are Rithmic issues. We cannot help with them other than to recommend selecting File >> Reconnect.

These are strictly Rithmic issues that are outside of the control of Sierra Chart.

These are simulation orders that were placed when I put sierra onto simulation mode. Not sure that is connected to rithmic.

They are orders with Rithmic. This is 100% clear because they do not contain [Sim] ] by the symbol

Exit from Sierra Chart, and delete the TradeOrdersList.data file.

It says [Sim] in the symbol settings from Trade Order window.

If I delete the TradeOrdersList data file, will I lose my order history? Is there any other thing I will lose by deleting that file?

No there is no order history. Just delete that file when Sierra Chart is not running.

In this particular case, there is no issue with deleting the file.
