I'm thinking I missed a step but have no idea where. In red it says download failed historical data only supported with sierrachart data feed. And in orange it says real-time market data only supported with sierrachart data feed for symbol

With version 2394 and higher we no longer allow CQG data for the CME Group and EUREX into Sierra Chart. Refer to the information here: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/Whats_New.php#SCVer2394 Therefore, you have two options: 1) Downgrade your system to version 2393 and continue to use the CQG data. Refer to the following for how to rollback your system: Software Download: Full Control Rollback Procedure OR 2) Stay on the current version and use our Denali Exchange Data Feed for your data instead of CQG. You will pay the same amount for the data, but have historical data available. Ok, so now, every time I put a live order in, it switches to SIM. Every single time. I unchecked SIM multiple times and made sure sim wasn't listed on the trade screen or window but every single time it automatically defaults back to sim

When that happens, then it means that you are not setup to connect to your CQG account. Follow the instructions at the following link to connect your Sierra Chart to your CQG account: CQG Trading Platform Service: Setup Instructions Once that is done, then open your Chartbooks and select Edit >> Translate Symbols to Current Service. This will ensure that your symbols are updated to the CQG symbols. It's still doing it. I have no idea what to do. Can you just do what do what's needed please because with me guessing my through this, I need to place a live trade to test, and that's just not right or ethical. I sent you a message log. It's still not working |

Can you please just do what's needed here. I updated to the latest version 3 times now and it's still doing the same thing. As mentioned above, I need to place a live trade every time to test if I did this correctly. But I'm not a software engineer, I'm trying to be a trader and this is getting frustrating because CQG always worked just fine with me, and I never had problems but I tried this data feed switch under your recommendations and I just want to place trades. Sorry about my scrambled message above but I sent the message log to you. I also tried switching from SC data - all services to CQG web-api all trading and still not working. Thank you

There is nothing we can do. It is up to you to change the setup for your system. You are not connected to CQG. Just follow through the instructions at the following link to setup your system to connect to CQG: CQG Trading Platform Service: Setup Instructions After you have gotten the connection to CQG working, then open your chartbooks and select Edit >> Translate Symbols to Current Service. Yes we definitely want your broker AMP to help you with the connection to CQG. We are at a severe disadvantage because we do not know your Username or Password. And we really do not like to get involved in these connections at all. We do want brokers to provide this technical support. Normally we just refer users to the CQG documentation but if they have trouble, then they should go to their broker. Well, I'm using denali. And he didn't care. and I made a couple other criticisms here that were made so nobody could read them. Fwiw, I'm getting a bit suspicious of you guys unfortunately. AMP just said click file > data trade service settings > the appropriate selection. See, I just wrote it out for anybody that easy without needing to direct them to a few pages in an engineering text. but whatever. I'm out. God Bless |

We will always direct you to the formal documentation: CQG Trading Platform Service: Setup Instructions And to say that this documentation is engineering text, is a stupid disrespectful content. It is nothing of the sort. We must direct you to the formal documentation with screenshots. It is comprehensive, has screenshots, and has detailed information about error messages. We are never going to accept the criticism that you are giving here. It would be a massive fault on our part if we were to restate documentation and do it incompletely. All I know is AMP was on my side whereas you guys weren't. And I've never had trouble with CQG. And all around the internet the only ones complaining about it are you guys. I could be wrong, but outside of your resident agent, I get the feeling you're not Americans. Honestly, you guys are some of the whiniest bunch I've ever seen when it comes to customer service.
