HI there, I'm trying to verify my trading account in order to get back my real time data on sierra charts but when i follow these steps it's not working Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart: Connecting Only Once a Month to Trading Account to Support CME Group Exchange Fees I do trade with Qtrader platform so when i try to connect with CQG Web Api(the only CQG option on Current Selected Service List) i get the error message attached. My real time data service expires on the 30th of June so i guess it's not related to any pending payment. I hope you can help me to figure out what i'm doing wrong. Regards |

Hi John, firstly thanks for your help, So according to that every month i need to comunicate that to the broker? I ask this because when i submitted for the real data for the first time all charts were working fine. Thanks, Alessio |

You should not have to tell them to add the Sierra Chart information to your CQG account every month. They should just do it once and be done. You would have to check with your broker as to why there was a change.

Hi John, it's getting a bit more complicated, i think the best way to solve this it's to explain you my setup and probably will make it easier for both side to fix the issue. I have Ironbeam (cannon trading) as a broker and Qtrader from CQG as trading platform. I use Sierra for charts and profiles and i got the sierra subscription and real data feed for the charts. Basically im' not getting any data feed from CQG but from you that's probably why the connection fails, is that correct? If yes, where i should connect to on "Current Selected Service List"? If not please could you please advise how to proceed, because i'm getting a bit lost Regards A |

You just need to connect to your CQG account from your Sierra Chart software. To do this, follow these instructions: CQG Trading Platform Service: Setup Instructions But, what we saw previously was that you had done this setup, but you got a rejection from CQG since Sierra Chart was not setup to connect to your CQG account. Therefore, you needed to tell your broker to add the Sierra Chart options to your CQG account to allow Sierra Chart to connect. Going forward, if you are not wanting to keep your Sierra Chart connected to your CQG account at all times, then you will want to follow these instructions at least once a month to make the connection to your CQG account: Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart: Connecting Only Once a Month to Trading Account to Support CME Group Exchange Fees For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
