Hello, My SC crashed, when I restarted SC I could not connect to my data feed (Rithmic via OneUp) I have now reconnected to data (with help from OneUp) re-entering credentials into Data/Trade Services. So connection is now green. However I can't get any live data into SC. Live data is coming into RTrader Pro. I noticed the DTC bridge that normally shows up in the task bar has not restarted. I have tried to replace the files in sierra/rim/ folder with new files off this support forum, but it's still not working. Please could you help me resolve this. Thank you! |

The old DTC Bridge is no longer available for use. You need to use the new Rithmic connection that has been developed. Follow these instructions to get connected: Rithmic Trading Platform Service: Setup Instructions For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Thank you John, I have followed all those steps. I now have live data coming in and showing on a market depth window, however my charts are stuck on 'Waiting to download historical data' I have translated all symbols in my charts to the new format. Please could you let me know what I need to do to resolve this. Thank you! |

This is a Rithmic historical data issue. We are wasting far too much time with these kinds of problems. This is just not worth our time. We really wish people would not be using things like One up trader. We do not want to provide support for that. You must have a funded trading account as explained here: Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart: Understanding and Accessing Data From the CME, CBOT, NYMEX, COMEX Exchanges And you must also activate the exchange you require here and pay the exchange fee and understand CME market data policy: https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=DenaliDataFeed We cannot provide and we do not provide any help for Rithmic market data. Do not ask us for help with Rithmic market data because we provide no support for that at all. As we said this is not worth our time. Pay the exchange fee and open a proper funded trading account. Otherwise, you will have no access to data. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. I have been using Rithmic data on Sierra Chart for almost 2 years now. And of course paying you platform fees for that. My Sierra Chart crashed, which is why I am in this situation of having to ask your help to fix it. I do not have the funds to trade a funded trading account, which is why I am using One up trader. Are you saying that I need to activate the denali datafeeds in order to continue using trade Rithmic via One Up? Please can you help to resolve this. Thank you |

Rithmic put out their new interface and with it there is no historical data available. Rithmic states that they are working on this, but we can not say when they may have this working. Therefore, if you are getting the real-time data, then there is nothing more we can do. This is the current situation with Rithmic data. If you want to get historical data, then you would need to use the Denali feed. In order to get a live account to qualify for the non-professional CME Group requirement, you can use the services outlined at the following link, which only requires $100 to open the account and the funds will just stay there (you will neither lose or gain any money in that account): Easy Solution to CME Funded Trading Account Requirement For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Yes. You also need to obtain a real/normal funded trading account as well to authorize the nonprofessional CME data but you can get that for as little as a 200 USD deposit: Easy Solution to CME Funded Trading Account Requirement We cannot provide an immediate solution to you because of market data rules. John, thank you for your reply. I did a clean install of Sierra Chart into a new folder and Rithmic data is now populating my charts again. I will do as you suggest and get a Denali feed. I'll use this into my main instance and then use a second instance to execute through Rithmic/One Up. Does this seem a feasible solution? I do have an Amp account from which I get CQG data a couple of years ago. I have tried to verify it, it says it is linked to my Sierra Chart account, but it is not verified yet. Do I need to wait for it to be verified before I activate Denali data? Really appreciate your help |

You do not need to have different instances of Sierra Chart, unless you want to. You would just need to connect to your funded account once a month and then you can change everything back to the Rithmic setup. Also, you can get the Denali data and trade with Rithmic at the same time. For more information on making the connection to your live trading account once a month, refer to the following: Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart: Connecting Only Once a Month to Trading Account to Support CME Group Exchange Fees If you have a CQG account with AMP, then you should be able to use that for the CME Group verification. It sounds like you may be trying to use the AMP Trading Account Verification tool. Since you are setup with CQG, that will not work. You would need to go through the Setup Instructions for CQG to connect to that CQG account. The instructions are here: CQG Trading Platform Service: Setup Instructions Note that you can view the date of your verification at the following link: https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=DenaliDataFeed#Exchanges For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

That's brilliant, thank you John. Do you have a setup guide on using Denali data and trading with Rithmic? I've requested that Amp change my account to Sierra Chart - Denali - CQG (No data - Order Routing only) - hopefully that will help with verification? If not I will open an account with Stage 5 to keep things automatic. Thanks for your help |

Not exactly a setup guide, as this is a core capability of Sierra Chart. The system is setup to look for real-time data first from us and then from the defined trading service that is setup. There is just one setting that has to be enabled (and should be by default) in order to ensure that you get the data from us. Refer to the information at the following link for the information on checking this after you have everything else setup: Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart: Integration with Trading Services For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Thank you for sending this through John. I have activated the full CME exchange data on my account. I've translated symbols and restarted Sierra Chart but I am not getting the M after the symbols in my charts and no historic data coming through. I am using the Rithmic credentials as supplied by One Up in the Data/Trade Service settings, with 'Allow Support for Sierra Data Feeds' set to yes. Please let me know what I need to do to get Denali data coming through, while executing through One Up/Rithmic on the same instance Thank you! Date Time Of Last Edit: 2021-10-08 08:01:38

You need to connect to your CQG account once a month to authorize the CME real-time and historical data from the Denali Exchange Data Feed. Here are instructions: CQG Trading Platform Service: Setup Instructions There is no need to translate any symbols. Just connect and disconnect and then switch back to Rithmic. Once that is done re-download the data in your charts you use with Rithmic: Re-download all the data in the chart by going to the chart and selecting "Edit >> Delete All Data and Download". You just need to do this once per symbol and not for each chart. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. We have authorized the CME data for today only. You should have access to it in about two minutes. At that time re-download the data in the chart as explained in the post above. Excellent, that has come through. I have the [M] next to the symbols. I'll set a reminder to log into the CQG account monthly. Thank you very much for your help |
