By default, you are allowed to run Sierra Chart on two computers simultaneously. Refer to the information here: Sierra Chart Purchase and License Information: Licensing / Number of Systems But, due to exchange regulations, you may have an issue getting data to both systems. You would need to check with your data provider on how they handle this. With the Denali Exchange Data Feed, you would need to pay for a second exchange fee in order to get the data to both computers at the same time. If you are not using them at the same time, then there is nothing you would need to do special. Note that the account from which you have posted to this board is expired. If this is the account that you are using, then you would need to pay for a Service Package to get further support. Otherwise, if you have another active account, be sure you post to this board with that account going forward. I used my new cqg credentials in the data/trade service settings window in my existing SC account and have a connection, but no data is coming in ? Is there a setting I am missing somewhere? |

Do you have a different Sierra Chart account, or is the account from which you posted your only one? If the account from which you posted is your only account, then the issue is that the account is expired and you need to pay for your Sierra Chart Usage Time in order to get data into the system. We do not completely lock you out of using Sierra Chart when you are not paying, but you can not get any new data into the system. that is a current account with amp. However it is a linked account to a different login account. edit: so this account I am trying to use is expired with sc, however it is the correct Amp account I am wanting to use. I tried to use the current SC account but I get a connection with my new cqg credentials but no data coming. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2021-06-16 19:00:32

We need for you to post here by logging into your Sierra Chart software using your not expired Sierra Chart account. The select Help >> Support Board and then post into this thread again and tell us you have posted from your active account. We need to be able to pull up the information for your active account in order to help you.

First thing we need for you to do is to update to the latest Release - v 2270. To do this follow these instructions: Software Download: Fast Update Then, make sure your CQG information is all entered correctly by going through these Setup Instructions: CQG Trading Platform Service: Setup Instructions Once that is all done, then open your ChartBooks and select Edit >> Translate Symbols to Current Service. This will ensure that your symbols are set for the CQG symbols. After all of that is done, let us know if you are getting data or not. If not, then tell us if you are getting any error messages on your system. There is the error in the log: CQG WebAPI | Market data subscription for F.US.EPU21 was unsuccessful. Text: Real-time data for instrument F.US.EP (corresponding to ID = 1) are not allowed. | 2021-06-17 09:57:20.606
This implies that you are not setup to receive the data from CQG.
