i have been using sierra for years now and i have a topstep trading account right now , i am trading ES,NQ,CL AND GC, and i would like to have acces to some INDICES , i am supposed tobe connected with rithmic and rithmic topstep, kindly guide me in to succesful connection please thank you |

Hi Sierra Charts, I've started to use TT data and your server for trade entry with my account - that's working fine. But, since I've changed to TT my connection to Topstep's rithmic server isn't happening. I've read this thread, updated to the latest release and tried the connection, I've updated to the prerelease with the same connection result and I have followed through and had Topstep do a remote assistance to check my configuration. They didn't find anything wrong with my Rtrader connection my computer updates or my antivirus exclusions (I have SC, and RtraderPro excluded) or the configuration. So, with all that done I'm appealing to you for help, as, I believe I've tried everything suggested. best regards, |

That is because you need to have your own Direct Sierra Chart account for using Rithmic with a broker other than AMP. More information: Direct Sierra Chart Account

There is no need to start a support ticket. The restriction is using a Sierra Chart account through AMP. It is not related to the Sierra Chart order routing service. Sierra Chart accounts provided by AMP have never been able to connect to services that are not provided from AMP. For example, you cannot use Rithmic with Top Step Trader. Oh K.. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt on that. It very well might be that the access I had was while I was paying you for my SC platform. (I know for sure I was paying AMP for Rithmic - but that's here nor there) So, I've logged into my "Account Control" page with my existing AC.... SC account, and gone ahead and signed the exchange and non-professional forms. I've also secured and paid for the platform and data I want. All the lines in the account support page are green (no todo's) :) ... But, upon logging in with this account and password (both of which are still current, and working) I'm getting a "trade account not assigned" error. This begs the question - Do I have to establish a new SC account to get all this to work? I'm admitting that the Direct Account - Sierra Charts page is a bit intimidating.
