Same here. SC feed is lagging...

I found that line in log. Maybe that helps: SC Exchange Data | Server protocol version: 6. Client protocol version: 7. There is a protocol mismatch! | 2015-09-01 09:00:34

After upgrade to the latest version datafeed looks OK.

Same here. About 30 seconds delayed right now. In the meantime I switched to the Rithmic data feed which is working normally.

We have been monitoring the data feeds from the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed during the last hour. In the beginning we did notice some delay at times, but not anything of significance right now.

Is anyone still noticing a problem?

The source of the problem still remains unknown. But we are suspecting there may be a outbound bandwidth problem outside of the servers.

Please listen Sierra Chart. Your US Equities datafeed has had consistent delays around the opening bell for weeks now. I've made posts here before about it. I've also made posts regarding the erroneous way historical daily bars are displayed before the opening bell.

You need to refund me for my last 3 months of this datafeed. It has cost me a lot more money than that personally.

Your US Equities datafeed has had consistent delays around the opening bell for weeks now.

This is the first we have heard of this regarding a problem during the last month. Please be sure to let us know about it when it happens. Otherwise, we will not know if we do not have any reports of the problem. We do remember a report of this months ago from a user. It may have been you. We did take some corrective action and we were not aware there was any problem after. How much of a delay do you notice? We will monitor for it.

I've also made posts regarding the erroneous way historical daily bars are displayed before the opening bell.

We are aware of this and we have implemented a solution on one of the servers. This has to do with the data from Barchart. The daily high and low before the open includes the prior session high and low and this is why you see what you do.

Regarding any problem with the SC Exchange Data Feed for stocks, aside from this delay this morning, report that in a separate thread. Not here.

The cause of the data delay this morning is unknown but we strongly suspect it was a limited bandwidth problem for the outbound Internet connection.

We did not observe any problems with any of the software processes running on the servers. The CPU loads were normal and we were observing no delays with market data processing.

We are going to add some additional logging to monitor the outbound buffer size for individual clients so we can better understand the problem if this were to occur again.

This problem this morning with the data delay was very puzzling to us. The cause was not initially obvious. This problem was very concerning and it is the first time we ever had an incident causing a general delay for all users.

We now know the cause of this. We received this information from Barchart today:

We had a traffic spike this AM and consequent problems with one of our ISP's causing delay and slow response for users connecting to servers in our datacenter. That was remedied about 1115 AM Central and we do not believe it should recur. Apologies for your users experiencing delay.
