I cannot get the bid or ask column to highlight after enabling "Chart DOM Recent Bid Same Price and Side Background Color" and "Chart DOM Recent Ask Same Price and Side Background Color", also have the "Text" setting enabled as well. Is there a setting upstream I have to enable or disable for this highlight to work?

The one thing to keep in mind is that the "Chart DOM Recent Bid/Ask Same Price and Side Background Color" only apply to the "Recent Bid/Ask" columns. Do you have these columns displayed?

Another silly question, but you do have the options "Enabled"? You need to select the "Enable" option for these items to show in the DOM.

Also, although it should not impact these, but do you have any of the "Last Traded Recent Bid/Ask Volume Background" or "Chart DOM Recent Bid/Ask Best Bid/Ask Background" options also enabled?

Yes I do have the options "Enabled" and I do not have "Last Traded Recent Bid/Ask Volume Background" or "Chart DOM Recent Bid/Ask Best Bid/Ask Background" options also enabled.

What are the colors you have set for the "Chart DOM Recent Bid/Ask Same Price and Side Background Color"?

They are both set to white but they are not enabled.

Sorry - you have us confused. You have stated that these ARE enabled previously.

If these do not have a checkmark next to "Enabled" then the backgrounds will not be colored white per the settings for those items. Make sure you have a checkmark next to "Enabled" and then see if you get the coloring in the Recent Bid/Ask Volume columns.

I'm sorry for the confusion, I was wrong when I specified "Chart DOM Recent Bid Same Price and Side Background Color", rather the setting I'm having trouble with is "Trade DOM Recent Bid/Ask Same Price and Side Background Color", that is what I have enabled and the background doesn't change when a trade is executed.

I do have "Trade DOM Recent Bid/Ask Same Price and Side Background Color" enabled.

Are you working with a Chart or a Trade DOM? The particular item you need ("Chart DOM..." vs "Trade DOM...") depends on what window you are working with.

If you have a Trade DOM up and the options for "Trade DOM Recent Bid/Ask Same Price and Side Background Color" is not working as you expect (i.e. you are not seeing any white backgrounds come up) then one of the things we want you to check is that you are changing this on the correct Graphics Settings. On the Trade DOM select "Chart >> Study Settings" and tell us if the option at the top for "Use Global Graphics Settings Instead of These Settings" has a checkmark next to it or not.

That solved the issue. I am using the Trade DOM and have it in a detached in it's own window. I don't have the "Use Global Graphics Settings Instead of These Settings" checked but instead of using the global settings, I changed the setting in the Trade DOM itself and not global. I must have been updating the style of the Trade DOM but not globally when I first configured it and forgot that it was there when I was configuring it on the global settings.

Thank you.
