I am still having problems getting live data. I have done what is described in the link. I get a "Service Connection Error" window with nothing but black background and an OK button. I also get a black "Message Log" window that appears as soon as I try to connect to Interactive Brokers. Can someone please help me with this once and for all? I am seriously reconsidering continuing using Sierra Chart because of these ongoing problems. Here are a few screenshots.

You have set the background and the text for those windows to be the same color - black. You need to change one or the other. The following Graphics Settings are the items that control these:
- General Text Window Background Color
- General Text Window Foreground Color

Once you have that worked out, then we need to know what the error message states.
For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service:

Here is the text I receive. I haven't changed anything with IB. The software is running in the background. The Service Connection Error window says "Connection error message from service: Interactive Brokers Note: Is the Interactive Brokers TWS Software running and is it enabled for socket clients" ...

Thanks for your help!

The connection Sierra Chart makes to Interactive Brokers is through the TWS software from Interactive Brokers. This needs to be running on the same computer as Sierra Chart in order to make the connection. The message you are receiving is stating that Sierra Chart is not able to make a connection to the TWS software, hence the question about whether it is running or not.

If TWS is running on the same computer, then go through the Setup Instructions for Interactive Brokers at the following link and make sure everything is setup correctly:
