its been 1 week and i still havent managed to set up sierra. I have a chat feed of 20+ messages back and forth with sierra support and im still in the same place. All i need is a simple step by step guide.

I trade futures. Mostly Gas & oil. . I trade this through multiple platforms. The main one being Interactive brokers now.
I would like live data for these instruments and plan to trade off of DOM, footprint, orderflow etc... hence why I need the live data.
Originally I purchased server package 5 but realised that it only gives me delayed data which is not what I want. After requesting instructions on how to change this to a live feed im still scratching my head.

I have been told that in order for me to have the live denali data for CME futures, I need to have a futures account - thats done, I have
I was then told that I would need to convert my SP5 Usage Time into SP11 Usage Time by activating an SP11 option (zero instructions on how to do this) - it also says that I now have service package 11 already.
I was also told that I would need to activate the denali data however, it says next to the activation button that its $37,00 - I need to know, is this something I pay for seperately? its so confusing.

All I want is the denali data live for natural gas, oil and oil futures.

- Broker: interactive brokers (futures trading acc)
- Already paid $36 (service package 5)
- Current package status says im on package 11

I dont even need sierra to be connected to interactive brokers. Im happy to use it on its own as a point of reference. I dont understand why this is all so difficult when it should be extremely simple?

Please someone help!

Can someone give me a step by step guide?

The main reason this is difficult is because the CME Group has a requirement that you have a live, funded, futures trading account in order to be able to get data at the non-professional rates. For more information on this requirement refer to the following:
Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart: Understanding and Accessing Data From the CME, CBOT, NYMEX, COMEX Exchanges

Since you have an account with Interactive Brokers, that will work for this purpose. But we see that you have not connected to that account yet. We can tell this as there is a "Verified Until" date that updates to 30 days in the future when you make the connection. This date has to be in the future in order to be able to get the data for the CME Group. Right now, your "Verified Until" date is showing as "0000-00-00". You can view this date at the following link:
https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=DenaliDataFeed#Exchanges

In order to connect to your Interactive Brokers account to verify the account for the CME Group requirement, follow these instructions:
Interactive Brokers Trading Service: Setup Instructions

If you will not be connected to Interactive Brokers at all times, then be sure you connect at least once a month to update your "Verified Until" date. Follow these instructions to do this:
Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart: Connecting Only Once a Month to Trading Account to Support CME Group Exchange Fees

To setup the real-time data for the CME Group, follow these instructions:
Denali Exchange Data Feed: *Setup Instructions: CME/CBOT/NYMEX/COMEX Exchanges*
For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service:
