My question is, which subfolder in the Sierrachart directory is responsible for downloading Historical Data (RIM, NPP...)? Because my home computer does not download the data, I can't see real time chart, although Chart Dome works perfectly in real time, Sierrachart works perfectly on my office computer, so if I know which folder I need to copy from the office computer to the home computer, my problem is solved. |

If you are asking where the files are located, then the data is stored in the 'Data' folder under the main Sierra Chart installation folder. The Intraday data is stored in files with the extension of .scid and daily data is stored in files with the extension of .dly. Because my home computer does not download the data, I can't see real time chart, although Chart Dome works perfectly in real time, Sierrachart works perfectly on my office computer, so if I know which folder I need to copy from the office computer to the home computer, my problem is solved.
Our guess is that you are trying to connect to the same Rithmic account from both your office and home computer, and Rithmic does not allow this. But if you get us your Message Log from the computer that is not working we can say for sure. Follow these instructions to get us the Message Log: Follow the instructions here to clear the Message Log: Message Log: Clearing the Message Log Close all of the Chartbooks with "File >> Close All Chartbooks". Open a single chart for the symbol you have an issue with through "File >> Find Symbol". Tell us that symbol of the chart. Tell us about *one* symbol only. Disconnect from the data feed with "File >> Disconnect". Connect to the data feed with "File >> Connect to Data Feed". You just need to activate the exchange that you need here: https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=DenaliDataFeed After activating the exchange, wait a few minutes and: Re-download all the data in the chart by going to the chart and selecting "Edit >> Delete All Data and Download" from the main Sierra Chart menu. You just need to do this once per symbol and not for each chart. This command is on the main Sierra Chart menu at the top. Only use it from that location. After you setup the data from our Denali Exchange Data Feed, then you can cancel the data you are receiving from Rithmic. You would need to ask your broker to do this for you. Global Settings..---> Data/Trade Service Settings---> Current Selected Service (List)...what must I do here?
Leave this alone. You are still going to use Rithmic for your order routing, just not for data.
