I have a study that placed a trade on 5/1 at 2pm. According to the activity log the trade was placed by Client #77 and also shows my IP address. Less than a minute later the entry order was executed, leaving the Stop and Take Profit orders resting on the book. About 90 minutes later, at 3:30pm the attached stop and take profit orders were canceled by Client #25 and it shows the IP address of 127.0.0.1 (localhost). I am unable to determine what mechanism canceled my stop and take profit orders. Help! |

Maybe they were canceled by a sub instance of Sierra Chart. Check the Trade Activity Log of the sub instance.

Where do I find the client #25 identifier? Any idea how a sub-instance could alter the trades of a parent with no algo actively running? A sub was set to the same account number, but again, no algo running. The sub was just reading live price data. |

You will not: Where do I find the client #25 identifier?
This number is not relevant. Provide us the line from the Trade Activity Log showing where the order cancellation was initiated. It looks like the order cancellations came from a sub instance. You need to look in the Sub instance Trade Activity Log for those particular order cancellations. And see what the reason is.
