When I go to data/trade service settings and switch the service to SC data - all services and hit apply and OK, the platform shuts down and it does not switch the data to SC. Can you help? Thanks.

This is extremely unusual. We want you to close all Chartbooks with File >> Close All Chartbooks before changing the Service.

And run Sierra Chart in Safe Mode:
Sierra Chart Unexpectedly Shutting Down | Memory Errors | Unusual Software Problems | Exception Errors | Freezing of User Interface: Problems Caused by Advanced Custom Studies

Also we see an unusual installation folder on your system for Sierra Chart. We recommend using the default installation folder. Or install Sierra Chart on a separate solid-state drive on your system. Not a remote folder.

Ok thanks I will try to install a clean version of sierra charts. How can I import all my chart books from this version so all charts and settings are saved the same way?

Thanks. Can you convert the file that I attached so that it can be compatible with the new Sierra Charts version?

Thanks. Also can you tell me why I am getting SC data that is delayed? I thought it was real time. DO I need to change some settings to get real time market data with the SC data package I have?

You are on Package 3 (Base Standard). The "Base" packages only have access to real-time data for FOREX, CFDs, Crypto Currencies, and Market Statistics.

Any data that requires exchange payments (The CME Group, EUREX, CFE, and U.S. Equities) require that you are on one of the "Integrated" packages. To change your package, select the following link and then select the package you want in the menu to the left and then select the "Update/Set" button. When you change your package, we do not give a refund, or ask for payment, rather we adjust your remaining Usage Time based on the difference in price of the packages. Therefore, if you change to a more expensive package, your remaining Usage Time will go down, and vice versa.
https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=ServicesActivation#ServicePackage

Then you will need to setup the exchanges for which you want the real-time data. If you are wanting data for The CME Group, then you will need to have a live, funded, futures trading account in order to qualify for the non-professional exchange fees, and you need to be able to connect your Sierra Chart to that account for verification. Refer to the following:
Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart: Understanding and Accessing Data From the CME, CBOT, NYMEX, COMEX Exchanges

If you do not have an account that meets the above requirements, then we recommend the solution outlined at the following link:
Easy Solution to CME Funded Trading Account Requirement

To setup the data for the CME Group, follow the instructions at the following link:
Denali Exchange Data Feed: *Setup Instructions: CME/CBOT/NYMEX/COMEX Exchanges*

To setup data for any of the other exchanges, follow the instructions at the following link:
Denali Exchange Data Feed: *Setup Instructions: All Other Exchanges*
