I actually tried to open the Sierra Chart using the same login details on another laptop because I was having trouble to connect my current laptop to multiple monitors.
Can i use the same login details on 2 laptops?

Yes, you can use the same login on 2 systems.

The following does not apply to you since you are on a trial at this time and using the Delayed Streaming Data, but just be aware that even though you are allowed to run Sierra Chart on two computers simultaneously, the real-time data works differently. For our Denali Exchange Data Feed, you would need to pay a second exchange fee to get the data to both computers at the same time. Refer to the following:

I took up a course and they gave me a ".cht" file containing selective DOMs to load.
I tried to open Sierra Chart on laptop 1 (old) user: sudijoa it was activated by (John) Sierra team and the given DOMs worked fine. Then I tried to open it on laptop 2 (new) user: sudijoaroz because i cannot use multiple monitors with laptop 1. There these given DOMs are dead showing no data. I tried using different options like go to Chart >Perform Futures Symbol Rollover but didn't help.

Could you please activate this account so that i can use it? I will close the other one (sudijoa).

Both of the accounts that you are referencing are on Activated Trials, so there is no issue related to the accounts themselves.

It is very confusing to us that this would work on one computer and not another. Typically when a chartbook that has been received from someone else does not work it is due to differences in the symbols, and you need to select "Edit >> Translate Symbols to Current Service". But you should be using the same service with both accounts since they are both trials, and you can only be connected to "SC Data - All Services" when on a trial.

Still, the first thing to do is to have the chartbook open on the system where it is not working and then select "Edit >> Translate Symbols to Current Service". Hopefully this will resolve the issue.

If not, then we would need to see your Message Log by following these instructions:

Follow the instructions here to clear the Message Log:

Close all of the Chartbooks with "File >> Close All Chartbooks".

Open the Chartbook that has the issue using "File >> Open Chartbook".

Disconnect from the data feed with "File >> Disconnect".

Connect to the data feed with "File >> Connect to Data Feed".

After the connection and after about 10 seconds, provide a copy of the Message Log following these instructions:

We will then determine what the problem is.
