Hello, I have worked with Sierra Chart since two years, and in the past, I changed the default chart draw type to Candlestick and set the default bar period to 1 day instead of 1 minute, when Sierra yet have the last Graphical Interface. But I changed my computer and I'm forced to reset all setting and, despite seeking a way of dooing it since hours, reading the documentation, I don't succeed to reach this goal. Can someone tell me how to set default chart drawing and bar period with the new black and white interface? Thanks in advance. Have a great day. |

To begin with, in order to work with the new interface, refer to the following: Settings Windows Interface The Graph Draw Type is set in "Chart >> Chart Settings >> Bar Period >> Graph Draw Type". Refer to the following: Chart Settings: Graph Draw Type (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Bar Period >> Graph Draw Type menu) The Bar Period is defined in "Chart >> Chart Settings >> Bar Period >> Bar Period Type" and "Chart >> Chart Settings >> Bar Period >> Bar Period Value". Refer to the information here: Chart Settings: Bar Period Type (List) (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Bar Period >> Intraday Chart Bar Period Settings menu) In order to save these items as the default for future charts, you want to use the "Chart >> Chart Settings >> Chart Data >> Save Days to Load, Intraday Bar Period, Graph Draw Type as Default". Set this to "Yes" and then select "OK" to close the Chart Settings window and the defaults will be saved. Refer to the following: Chart Settings: Save Days to Load, Intraday Bar Period, Graph Draw Type as Default (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Chart Data >> Chart Data menu) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
