I am not able to get these feeds to work. I believe I'm subscribed to both Denali feeds. When I use the example you gave: IBM_MBO I get nothing. Can you confirm these feeds are working together and any suggestion for me to trouble shoot? Thanks

This should be working for you, as you have both exchanges active, and our information shows you are on version 2529.

Make sure you are using an 'underscore' like you have it written above. So the combined symbol will be xxx_MBO (IBM_MBO).

If you are continuing to have an issue, let us know.

Sent Message log with the default setting (on)

Do you have a "Trade and Current Quote Symbol" setup for this chart? If not, then be sure to do so, as Interactive Brokers is not going to recognize the symbol TSLA_MBO.

You would need to have your primary symbol as TSLA_MBO and then enter the proper Interactive Brokers stock symbol in the "Trade and Current Quote Symbol" and also enable the option for "Use As Trade Only Symbol". Refer to the following:
Chart Settings: Trade and Current Quote Symbol (text box) (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Symbol >> Symbol menu)

Chart Settings: Use as Trade Only Symbol (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Symbol >> Symbol menu)

Yes tried both of those, still not able to see the combined data service _MBO.

I am able to see the -NQTV, and the TSLA Consolidated Tape. Well it says TSLA[M] so I assume it is the Consolidated Tape.

I am also able to trade both symbols without an issue through Interactive Brokers.

I am now able to connect to TSLA_MBO.

Seems to be just the consolidated tape feed, no depth. I sent another message log of me connecting to it if you need that information.

To make this easy to troubleshoot, from that TSLA_MBO chart, remove the Trade and Current Quote Symbol. And open a market depth window with File >> Open Market Depth Window.

Sent another message log:

opening TSLA_MBO, opening Market Depth Window, it working, Disconnecting/Reconnecting, it still working.

adding TSLA to the Trade and current quote symbol, this disables Market Depth. (which is the issue)

You need to set the option for "Use as Trade Only Symbol" when you do that. Refer to the following:

Got everything working on a default chart.

When adding studies I noticed an issue with Market Depth Historical Graph Study.

When I add it to a chart after connecting to the data feed it works fine, if I then disconnect/reconnect OR switch to a new symbol I no longer get market depth.

I confirmed this with the market depth window.

I sent a message log of this happening:
Steps:

Open new chart book, clear message log, find symbol - open TSLA_MBO intraday, open market depth window, disconnect/reconnect, everything working,

add market depth historical graph study - default besides using Actual Value Threshold Levels and Maximum Levels to Dispaly (0 for all) = 0,
still getting market depth and the market depth historical study is working as expected,

disconnect/reconnect, no longer receiving market depth in the market depth window and the MDHS is only receiving level 1 data.

Just a note: I have done this whole process with TSLA-NQTV and everything works fine. I can send a message log for you to compare the two if that is required.

We are not able to reproduce this.

If you do not mind, can you change your "Current Selected Service" to "SC Data - All Services" and open a new chart/chartbook for the TSLA_MBO symbol and see if this same problem occurs.

Close are your chartbooks first before making this change so you do not have to deal with changing any symbols. Then change the service settings and open a new chart.

You can then close that chart (if you do not save it, then you do not need to worry about a chartbook associated with it), and change your service back to IB and then re-open your Chartbooks.

I did the same process and steps above but with "SC Data - All Services"

Everything worked as expected, no issues, Market Depth Historical Graph Study working.

When I switched back to IB service and tried it again, same result. Issue after adding Market Depth Historical Graph Study.

I sent a new log repeating the above steps, not sure if anything changed.

When connected to Interactive Brokers, please update your Symbol Settings by following these instructions:
Global Symbol Settings: Update Global Symbol Settings

Also, we see that you have TSLA_MBO entered for the main symbol. Do you have anything entered for the "Trade and Current Quote Symbol"? If not, then please enter TSLA-STK-SMART-USD for the Trade and Current Quote Symbol.

Then try again and let us know if you still see an issue.

I updated the symbols just before the last logs, I updated again just now.

I had TSLA_MBO only to simplify the test, I do normally use TSLA-STK-SMART-USD yes.

Tried it with TSLA-STK-SMART-USD and "Use as Trade Only Symbol" - Yes
Same result :
Message log sent, only adjustment is after opening the chart, setting "Use as Trade Only Symbol" - Yes because it is NO by default when opening a new chart.

EDIT: Just to add I also tried it with "Use Custom Symbol Settings Values" Unticked - no change, same problem

Tried repeating the process again to see if it is resolved. I updated global symbols

It appears to not be for me,

My steps for this test: (Sent a message log)

Open new chart book, clear message log, find symbol - open TSLA_MBO intraday(custom symbols settings values turned off), open market depth window, no market depth(strange?), disconnect/reconnect, now have market depth,

add TSLA-STK-SMART-USD and "Use as Trade Only Symbol" - Yes to the chart, still have market data, disconnect/reconnect, still have market depth. NOTE: (Tried without this step same result)

add market depth historical graph study - default besides using Actual Value Threshold Levels and Maximum Levels to Dispaly (0 for all) = 0,
still getting market depth and the market depth historical study is working as expected,

disconnect/reconnect, no longer receiving market depth in the market depth window and the MDHS is only receiving level 1 data.

Addon to above post: I downloaded and installed a completely fresh version of Sierra Chart in a new folder, did the same tests. Same result

And just a reminder that TSLA-NQTV functionality works perfectly fine.

We now see there is currently a problem with historical market depth data with _MBO symbols. This will take some time to resolve.
