Errors when down loading Update

Upon trying to update to current version many errors encountered. I have submitted Log to support. Have been having Freezing issues and tried to update version as corrective measure. |

We are having an issue with the email of the Installer Logs. Can you please find the error you are getting and post it in this thread for us.

Are you having an issue with the installer or the software itself? From your first post, it sounded like the installer was the issue, but we are having a problem getting the logs from the installer when you select "Send Log to Support", they are not coming to us. So we would need for you to tell us what the error is that you are getting. If it is something else, then please let us know what the problem is. The issue is that SC is loading very slow. Then upon attempting to Close Program it freezes. As a result attempted to update to latest version, and it did so with many Error lines on the log. Have no idea what to do. |

We found your installer log, and we see the following within it: Error opening C:\SierraChart\SierraChartStudies_64.dll. Windows error code 32: The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.
You have Sierra Chart running when you are trying to do the update. Make sure you exit out of any sub-instances and start the update by selecting Help >> Download Current Release from within the main Sierra Chart.
