Confusion with Data Feed using Denali, Stage 5, and Apex/Rithmic

Hello all,

This software is very powerful and with that comes great confusion. The contradictory instructions do not help either. I am trading futures as a non-professional. I have four accounts from Apex and I followed the instructions, so I thought. I have an active Stage 5 account and bought SC Package 11, which I thought comes with the Denali Data Feed. I created a separate instance for Stage 5 and one for APEX. I have no problem seeing data on the Stage 5 instance, real time and historical. However, on my Apex/Rithmic Instance it always says it skips the historical download and my chart is blank. It shows as connected, no apparent permission denied issues either. I also have "Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds" marked as "yes" under this Apex/Rithmic instance. I spent over an hour troubleshooting it with my friend who already is familiar with Sierra Chart, with no success. Even though my Stage 5 instance works, do I still need to purchase the CME Exchange data feed for the Apex/Rithmic instance? If so, then why do I have the data on the Stage 5 instance? I appreciate any help.

Regards,

Tom

You actually are not receiving any real time CME data at this time in any installation of Sierra Chart. What you are actually seeing is delayed data and no data when using Rithmic.

You need to activate the exchange that you need here:

This will solve the problem completely for you.

After that, in the Rithmic installation:
Re-download all the data in the chart by going to the chart and selecting "Edit >> Delete All Data and Download". You just need to do this once per symbol and not for each chart.
