Hello, I’ve been doing backtesting on footprint, everything was fine until it started to show data like this -> picures in attachement. My continuous contract is set for backtesting as well as intraday storage on 1 tick.. I updated sierra too but it’s still the same. Waht else can be a problem here I can't find a solution. Thank you for your help. Regards, Dennis |

It looks like you have missing data in those locations. Refer to the following: Data Errors or Spikes in Charts, Flat or Flat Line Graph, Compressed Graph, Errors with Date/Time Values: 2.1.2 Deleting and Re-downloading Data. (Easier and Recommended Method) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

I have the same issue with the Footprint and tried all steps in the above link but I couldnt resolve the issue. The weird thing is that the footprint is working fine when in Real-Time mode. This issue only seems to happen when I replay the chart. The footprint also shows a different price and candles compared to the candlestick chart. Deleting and downloading didnt fix it. Any other tips?

Can you please give us an image of what you are seeing? A couple of images would be great, one for the real-time and another for the replay (showing the same time frame). Refer to the following for how to take a screenshot: Support Board Posting Information: Attaching or Posting a Screenshot/Image (Optional) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

We need to see the "Live" Numbers Bars `chart from the same time period as the replay is showing (around 08:00, but we can not see the date, so we are not sure of that). Most likely the data is simply not there in the live mode either. If it is not, then you would need to delete and redownload the data from where the data is showing an issue.

I'm not sure what you mean with "Live" Numbers Bars. As said before, I've already tried the options on that page but it didnt resolve the issue. The chart I shared is the Footprint and the second one is the haikenashi I use for this symbol. I cant figure it out, as you can see from the screenshot the footprint is working in live mode and showing market orders in the candles. For the other one in replay all market orders are 0 or 1 which is wrong ofcourse. I've also tried replaying more recent months but still it doesnt work. The setting for total days to load is set to 365 for all charts. What am I doing wrong?

What we need to see is a Footprint chart from when you are in replay where it is showing the zeros in the footprints, and then an image from a "live mode" chart (not in replay) that shows the exact same time period for which you took the image from the replay. In other words, if you are running the replay and the displayed date and times are from July 12, 2023 08:08 to 08:17, then we need to see an image of your "live mode" (not replay) chart from July 12, 2023 08:08 to 08:17 (or as close as you can get, it does not need to be perfect, but the times do need to overlap. Ah I understand your question now! I've manually scrolled back in live mode to see when this starts happening and it seems to start before the first week of june. After that it seems just fine. Am I overlooking something simple? I have the days to load set to the same for all charts so I dont understand. I even changed the market depth to 365 days, just to be sure.

You need to use a Continuous Futures Contract to go back that far. Refer to the following: Continuous Futures Contract Charts For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
