Hello, I was wondering with my current plan, can someone tell me if it includes VIX real time data? If so, what is the symbol?

You are not setup to get the VIX data. You do have access to the delayed streaming data for the VIX futures, and if you want real-time data for the VIX futures, you can activate the CFE exchange by following these instructions: Denali Exchange Data Feed: *Setup Instructions: All Other Exchanges* If you are looking for the VIX cash index, then that is no longer available. Hi John, I set this ticket up earlier but can you check my subscriptions now - all of my agreements for CFE say Reviewed and Approved. Am I now getting real time VIX data? |

We see that you have completed the agreements for the CFE, but you have not activated the exchange. You need to activate the exchange you want at the following link: https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=DenaliDataFeedCFE#Exchanges Again, make sure you understand that this is the VIX Futures, not the $VIX cash index. Also, since we are at the end of the month, you may want to wait until April 1 to activate the exchange. The exchanges are not pro-rated, so you will pay the full amount for the exchange for the remainder of this month, and then pay again on April 1, for the month of April. Hi John, After reading Discontinuing of Old Sierra Chart/Barchart Exchange Data Feed | Replacement Data Feeds! can you confirm which data feed you will be offering in April that is equivalent or identical to the CBOE VIX symbol and feed? Is it correct that the CBOE VIX is the VIX Cash Index and not the VIX Futures? Thank you |

The CBOE VIX is the Cash Index, not the futures. We will continue to offer the CFE (CBOE Futures Exchange) VIX futures data as it is now.
