Hi yes it's under Analysis but I want to add it to one of my existing charts not a clean chart, is that possible?

We are just stating that the Study Collection should be showing in that same area where "Clean Chart" is showing. Here is a link to an image to show you what we are referring to:
https://www.sierrachart.com/images/StudyCollectionsMenu.png

Is the "Naked POC" Study Collection showing in that list or not?

Hi yes, under Clean Chart it says Naked POC but my question is how do I apply this to an existing chart as that's what isn't clear for me thanks

When you have the chart selected that you want, you select that "Naked POC" item in the Analysis menu. This will apply the Study Collection to the chart. Refer to the information here:

Hi John, actually I think I have worked out how to to add it without clearing existing studies but my next question is, is it possible to be able to add/remove this without everytime having to add/deleting the study, basically I want to be able to be able to click to add it to my daily chart and then unclick it to take it off without having to keep adding it/deleting it, is this possible? thanks

To do what you are asking (click to go away, click to bring back) would be best done by "Hiding" and "Un-Hiding" the study. So add the study to the chart you want, then when do not want to see it "Hide" it, then when you want to view it again "Un-Hide" it. Refer to the information here:
Chart Studies: Settings and Inputs Tab >> Hide Study

Also refer to the following for a faster way to access the Hide/Un-Hide:

Hi thanks but after all that when I added this to my daily chart it completely changed the way my chart looks, it removed the bar charts which is not what I need, I just need to see the Naked POC's when they have been traded through and when they haven't, I don't think sierra charts offer this

It should not have removed your bars, unless you had a study that was doing something special with the bars. In order to add the study collection and get prompted to remove or leave the existing studies, you need to change the name of the Study Collection file so it has a + at the end of the filename. For example, instead of "NakedPOC.StdyCollct" you would want to make it "NakedPOC+.StdyCollct". You would make this change in the file system. Refer to the following:
Study Collections: Adding a Study Collection Without Clearing Existing Studies On The Chart (Prompt to Remove Existing Studies)

There is not a study that does exactly what you want. You would have to create a custom study (or have someone create one for you) to do this.

ok no worries thanks, just one other thing (as tried to find this) is it possible to have a POC added to a chart without having Volume Profiles on there? I just want to be able to see the POC line going through my chart?

Yes, use the Volume Value Area Lines study, which has the POC in it. You can turn off the Subgraphs for the Value Area Lines if you do not want those. Refer to the following for this study:

Hi John, is it possible to put a dot above a pivot high or low on a point and figure chart - I have tried to find this on the support board but cannot find anything, it mentions adding lines but I don't want lines on the chart I basically want a dot highlighting above or below where a 3 bar pivot high or low is created, please let me know if this can be done, many thanks

What exactly are you trying to do. When you mention Pivot, we think of "Pivot Points", which doesn't sound like what you are really wanting. Please explain the logic you are trying to apply and we'll let you know if there is a way to do it.

Hi sure so on my 9 tick point and figure chart I want to be able to add a dot when a pivot high or low is created on 3 bars, so if I have a bar with 2 bars either side (higher or lower than the middle bar) I want to be able to add a dot to that middle bar or doesn't have to be a dot just want to be able to highlight them, rather than me having to manually put an arrow on them as I am currently doing - I am training with someone who uses IRT charts and they are able to do this on there and just wondered if this is something sierra charts can also do? thanks

Use the "Color Bar Based on Alert Condition" study. In the Alert, enter the following:
=OR(AND(H[-1] > H[-2], H[-1] > H[0]), AND(H[-1] < H[-2], H[-1] < H[0]))

Refer to the following:
Color Bar Based on Alert Condition

Note that you can put some kind of marker rather than coloring the bar. There is a section on this in the above documentation, but start with coloring the bar.

Note that since you are looking back one bar, you will actually get the coloring on the 3rd bar (not the middle one). You can change this with the "Displacement" option on the Subgraphs tab and set it to -1. But get everything else working first.

Take a look at the information in the following page:
Transferring Sierra Chart Settings and Data From Existing Installation to New Installation

You will need to determine which method will work best for you - whether you install Sierra Chart from our installer and then just copy the necessary files, or if you want to copy the entire Sierra Chart folder and move it to your new computer (probably the easiest option).
