It should not have removed your bars, unless you had a study that was doing something special with the bars. In order to add the study collection and get prompted to remove or leave the existing studies, you need to change the name of the Study Collection file so it has a + at the end of the filename. For example, instead of "NakedPOC.StdyCollct" you would want to make it "NakedPOC+.StdyCollct". You would make this change in the file system. You would have to create a custom study (or have someone create one for you) to do this.
