Hi, I am unable to download charts using CQG WEBAPI. Everything was working fine before I updated my Sierra Chart today. I can only see charts using SC DATA, but I cannot trade using that data. When I log in to CQG WEBAPI charts fail to download and cannot get historic data it says. How can I fix this to trade and see charts using CQG?

We made a change with version 2394 and higher to not allow CQG data for CME Group and EUREX into Sierra Chart. Refer to the following: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/Whats_New.php#SCVer2394 Therefore, you have two options at this time: 1) downgrade your Sierra Chart software to version 2394 and continue to use your CQG data. Refer to the instructions to downgrade here: Software Download: Full Control Rollback Procedure OR 2) Stay on the current release and use our Denali Exchange Data Feed instead. The cost will be the same, but you will have access to historical data. If I choose option 2, after following the steps every time I go to place a trade it auto puts me in sim and does not route to CQG. And for options 1 I am still not getting charts to download, it is giving same error.

You are setup to get the Denali data, but you are not connected to your CQG account. Rather, your service is set to SC Data - All Services. Please go through the setup instructions for CQG to connect your Sierra Chart to your CQG account: CQG Trading Platform Service: Setup Instructions Also, you should be sure you are on the most recent release when using the Denali Exchange Data Feed, as there have been some changes to the data feeds, and although you should be fine, it is best to update to ensure you do not have any issues.
