Hope someone can help. Just subscribed to both Sierra Charts and Nasdaq totalview - signed all necessary forms and topped up/paid for the services. However, equities are still showing delayed/historical data.

Make sure you are entering your equity symbols with the -NQTV suffix. For example, for IBM, you need to enter the symbol as IBM-NQTV, otherwise you will not get the real-time data from our NASDAQ TotalView exchange. If this is not your issue (you have been entering the symbols with the -NQTV symbol), then we would need to see your Message Log by following these instructions: Follow the instructions here to clear the Message Log: Message Log: Clearing the Message Log Open a chart for the symbol you have an issue with. Tell us that symbol of the chart. Disconnect from the data feed with "File >> Disconnect". Connect to the data feed with "File >> Connect to Data Feed". After the connection and after about 10 seconds, provide a copy of the Message Log following these instructions: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=PostingInformation.php#MessageLog We will then determine what the problem is. We are not seeing any issues in the log related to the data. You should be getting it just fine. Are you having issues with any of the other symbols for which you are getting data - such as ES or USOIL? The main thing to check is your Session Times and ensure that they are set properly relative to the time zone you have setup. We see your Global Time Zone is UTC, and if your charts are following the Global Time Zone then you would have to have a start time of 13:30 (09:30 New York Time) and whatever you would want for an end time (use 13:29:59 if you want the full 24 hours). Yes it was definitely the time zone issue - It is fixed now. However the charts still appear laggy (separate thread) I am trading from Singapore and the ping is just unbearable. I understand that Denali Data Feed is situated in a colocation center in Chicago. Would that not mean latency should be considerably lower as that particular data center is connected to the one in Singapore? |

The Denali data feed for NASDAQ stock data is in New York. There is no association at all with Singapore.

Hello, I have the same issue as mentioned in this thread. I paid and activated Nasdaq totalview but I still see Delayed in the intraday chartbook of XLV. I have attached the log as well. Let me know if you need any other thing to make this work. |
