Hi, I have set up an alert based on a condition in a 3 second chart. I want to overlay this alert study on a 3 minute chart. It seems some of the alerts are copied over to the 3 minute but not all of them - the only way I can see all of the alerts is to add extension lines which seems to work for all instances but not what I want. Is there any way to make sure I can see all alerts overlaid in the 3 minute chart? Many thanks, |

We are not sure what you mean by seeing all of the alerts. You will only see the one bar in the 3 minute time-frame change color regardless of how many are true in the 3 second chart that make up the 3 minute bar. Also, if you are not getting the data to match up as you expect, then change the Input for Bar Time Matching Method to Containing Match. Thanks guys, I mean a lot of the alerts are missing, they do not appear on the chart- I have checked and many of the 3 second alerts do not appear within the three minute bar at all. However, if extension lines are selected an extension line extends, even where the alert was not visible. I tried containing match and the same thing occurs. Many thanks for looking into it. Here you will see the 3 second chart and the 2 minute chart. You see some of the green arrows print but not the red ones in this instance. Thanks John, I have uploaded the file here. I have taken off all of the extraneous studies. Just a note, I have lowered the parameter in the alert against ID12.SG4 to enable more signals for testing purposes in ETH, normally this is set to 400. Many thanks indeed, |

Unfortunately, you are using a custom DLL that we do not have access to. What is the study you are using and what does it measure (we hope we can find a substitute in order to test your setup)?

Ah of course, sorry, silly me. I will send over a chartbook with a substitute study. It will be the pull stack data from the number bars calculated values 2. I can send over the revised book the weekend. Thank you! |
