Hello, I'm trying to get CTS mobile and webtrader to allow me to trade while my Sierra Charts is connected to CTS data/trade simultaneously. CTS says Sierra Charts needs to have some settings modified. Can you help by telling me what to do? Following is correspondence with CTS. Thanks in advance. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- From: Support (Support@ctsfutures.com) This sender is in your safe list. Sent: Thu 5/01/14 6:27 AM To: S. S., Support (Support@ctsfutures.com) Scott, we made some changes on our side to allow this but Sierra needed to make changes as well. Please ask them if that work is complete. Support From: S. S. Sent: Wednesday, April 30, 2014 9:34 PM To: Support Subject: simultaneous connection Hello, I'm a new user of CTS. My main trading platform is through Sierra Charts. I tried logging on to webtrader and t4 mobile while my Sierra Charts was connected and it won't let me stay logged in to the webtrader or the mobile trader. Is there a way to have my settings changed so I can use the webtrader or mobile trader simultaneously when my Sierra Charts is connected to your feed? Sometimes I will need to close positions at the close and can't be by my Sierra Charts. |

We are not sure this will work due to restrictions by CTS. In Sierra Chart make sure that you have Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Perform Hardware ID Check enabled. If you did not have it enabled, then enable it and then reconnect to the data feed with the commands on the File menu. The changes that CTS is referring to has to do with the hardware ID check and this is now done. You are running a version which does support this option. However, we still do not think this is going to help. CTS should be aware of this. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Just a heads up in case anyone wants to try this in the future. It is not possible for a user to be logged in to CTS from two different portals at the same time. I set up my system to disconnect from Sierra Charts if I need to log in from a remote location. It will only work if the user unchecks "Reconnect on Failure" in the "Data/Trade Service Settings" on Sierra Charts. I only uncheck the box when I know I won't be able to be in front of Sierra Charts.

Yes, that is a good solution.
