Hi !
I've just subscribed with ticktick trader but when I want to connect to rithmic in sierra chart it says "permission denied". What can I do ?

Where exactly are you getting the "Permission Denied" error? The log you attached is not from Sierra Chart so it is not of any use to us.

Please attach the Sierra Chart Message Log that includes the error you are seeing.

Rithmic support told me I have to enter market data and historical data password and username in Sierra. Is that correct ? I never had to do that..

Latest news.. Tick tick tells me it's a problem of gateway between sierra and rithmic and want me to change to ninjatrader or jigsaw :-). Rithmic doesn't know what to do. You are my

Those need to be blank because you are using the Denali Exchange Data Feed for data.

No this is definitely not the case either:

Are you sure you have enter your Rithmic username and password correctly? That seems like a very long password just looking at the screenshot you are using.

Maybe that's actually the problem thinking about it. Shorten your password. It could be too long. Make sure it is not more than 30 characters.

Ok...problem solved..this was the number of charcaters for the password.
NOW...another problem. I cannot move nor delete my pending orders. It's a real problem..Impossible to trade..
any idea ?

the orders exist only within Sierra, no orders in R trader pro.

Make sure the Trade Account identifier is also not longer than 31 characters. That is the maximum.

Let us know if that is the issue.

When you submit an order what is the Status of the order? You can see this on the order line on the chart and also in Trade >> Trade Orders Window?

it remains pending order because I want to delete it (the target is deleted and the stop either, for that no problem, these are attached orders).
1. pending open and when I want to delete them, pending cancel. But never my orders are filled and I cannot move them at another price on the dom..

If you see that the status is "pending open", then this indicates there is a response from the Rithmic system for the order. So that is good.

Do the orders have a Service Order ID? There is a field for this in the Trade Orders list.


From our position we really would not know why there is an issue.

In the end, if you are having issues with Rithmic, we can always give you a refund. However, really there should not be a problem because we are not having any other current reports of Rithmic issues.

there is a screenshot in the previous message, and a field for "internal order ID".
The problem seems to be with sierra connexion with rithmic.
I hope we can solve the problem. I never had this issue before.
