Trade Order Account Allocation issues after updating to 2376

Main issues:
1) Orders into the lead account on the DOM are not submitted or exited on fill. This means 5/6 accounts have a position but the account on DOM always shows me as flat. Very scary indeed. The behavior is random and sometimes orders are not sent and other times they are just crossed with a market order.

2)Trade order alerts filter no longer works. Submitted a help ticket on this 2 days ago and haven't seen a response. So in effect, I get 12 sound alerts when I submit an order and filled.
This makes for a confusing trading environment. This was previously working


Don't really want to move to previous versions as making order adjustments used to not work when trading from the DOM

Over the two days since upgrade these errors have been quite costly.

1. This sounds like an issue with the external trading service. Not with Sierra Chart. There cannot be any problem like this at all with the order allocation to account functionality. Makes no sense. You need to see what the issue is by analyzing the orders in the Trade Activity Log:

We are quite certain this is not an issue with the functionality on the Sierra Chart side.

The random behavior would confirm, that is an external trading service issue. And we do not know what is meant by being crossed with a market order:

OK Guys thank you for the quick and reassuring reply. Indeed there was a issue with the service provider and this has been happening for 2 days. Sorry

But yes please look into the trade alerts when trading multiple accounts. Can I also suggest a feature.....


An alert if positions in each account do not match. On alert trigger bring up a Dom or other order entry system so that you can correct fills. This is something I have found difficult whilst trading multiple accounts when one order is not filled etc.

Here is the documentation Trade Order Alert filter:

We did some testing with it with the Order Allocation to Accounts feature and did not notice any issues.

This is not something we can get to anytime soon:
An alert if positions in each account do not match. On alert trigger bring up a Dom or other order entry system so that you can correct fills. This is something I have found difficult whilst trading multiple accounts when one order is not filled etc.

You can monitor all of the positions through the Trade >> Trade Positions Window and look for any discrepancies there.

You can monitor all of the positions through the Trade >> Trade Positions Window and look for any discrepancies there.

If there are discrepancies how do you rectify them quickly given that all your doms are set up to trade into multiple amounts. Tricky I think.

If people are using this feature to trade multiple amounts really think all think this process should be simple. May I therefore suggest a button on the DOM or keyboard shortcut to enable dissable the trade into multiple accounts. So that one can quickly rectify discrepancy. An alert wild be cool too.

At the moment I have to click menu on dom, dissable feature, select account which takes about 30sec min by which I have just taken on a lot of price risk. Gets scary.
