Hello, I am on SC data - all services, but whilst I can chart xbtusd-bmex quite successfully, I cannot get CME btc futures. What am I doing wrong? Do I need to upgrade to a different type of data? I have acct with EdgeClear and I thought Teton was crap, and also I could not access bmex on it, so I switched to all services. I haven't been trading using this acct but my acct at edfMan, but I do want to do some trades now. If I stick with the 'all services' feed I will then be charged by SC a fee per lot, is that correct? I know that using Teton the fee is waived, but Teton cannot access bmex. Finally, I could have a SC open that was on Teton, and one that was on all services, is that correct as well? I will be getting a second pc so was planning on running crypto on one, and equity indexes on the other. Thank you so much for answering these questions. |

To start with, it should not matter what your Current Selected Service is set to, you will not get real-time data for BTC as the exchange that you have enabled for the Denali Exchange Data Feed does not include that symbol. You have the "CME E-Mini for Professionals" activated. In order to get the BTC, you would need to have the CME, For professionals and users without a trading account exchange activated. With regards to accessing BitMex when you are connected to a trading service, the best way to deal with this is to have 2 different installations of Sierra Chart. One that is connected to your Futures Trading and the other that has the the Current Selected Service set to SC Data - All Services so you can access the Cryptocurrency data. If you want to have them on two different machines, that is fine and will not cost you anything more. We are not sure what you mean by "If I stick with the 'all services' feed I will then be charged by SC a fee per lot, is that correct?". You need to have your "Current Selected Service" set to whatever is necessary for you to make your trades. Any fees you incur will just depend on what your broker has setup. In the case of the Teton Order Routing Service, there are no Order Routing Fees. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

thank you so much! What I meant by number 3 is I used to trade on SC through my acct at edfMan. Then I paid you SC a fee for each lot I transacted. Look at my acct history and see I actually paid you a lot of fees. Once I switched to Edge/Teton there were none of these fees. So my question is if I again began trading thru my SCDATA all services feed you would start charging order routing fees right? So for me not to pay routing fees I must use Teton? again, thank you so much, and have a lovely weekend |

We will add BitMex symbols for Teton order routing as well. No, there are no fees in this case: So my question is if I again began trading thru my SCDATA all services feed you would start charging order routing fees right?

We are checking if crypto currency symbols can be provided in real time when paying the CME E-mini exchange fee.

Hi Again Guys, On above thread you say that will be adding Bmex to Teton. Did you do that by any chance? If not I will need to buy another machine and install another SC and have one feed Teton, and one SC-ALL. I tried installing a second version of SC on my big pc but it wouldn't allow it as there was one already one. I did try renaming it but I couldn't get it work. As you know I AM STUPID and blond. Would someone not so handicapped be able to install 2 versions on one box? I think I actually tried getting my friend Fleri from OrderFlowLabs to help and he couldn't either. thank you for your time. Follow the instructions here to update the Symbol Settings: Global Symbol Settings: Update Global Symbol Settings You will find the symbols in File >> Find Symbol >> BitMex. I tried installing a second version of SC on my big pc but it wouldn't allow it as there was one already one. You can definitely do this. You just need to install Sierra Chart into a different folder. Instructions:Using Multiple Data and Trading Services at the Same Time: Step-By-Step Instructions to Install Multiple Copies of Sierra Chart It is not a case of it not being allowed. If you just were to install Sierra Chart into the same folder it updates the existing installation. If it is into a new and different folder, then that is a new installation. It is point-blank simple. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Try to keep your questions brief and to the point.
