The message: "Connection error message from service: SC CME Futures Order Routing Connection error: No trade accounts assigned" I have a 2nd PC running 2320 and it connects with no problem with the same settings...no differences as far as I can tell except the version. On my main/trading PC I was switched over to direct CME order routing (Teton) on Sept 27. I have been trading with no problems since. The other PC I use for simulations but just switched over to Teton yesterday or the day before. Don't know if that has anything to do with it. I have no connection problems though on my 2nd PC. |

Check the Clearing Firm setting in the Data/Trade Service Settings to make sure it is set correctly. I did not change the settings prior to updating to 2328. It was set for "Advantage" and worked fine using 2320 but has connection errors with 2328. My 2nd PC on version 2320 is also set for "Advantage" and currently connects with no problem. I changed the clearing firm from "Advantage" to "Advantage/Stage 5" on the PC using 2328 and that fixed it...it now connects. So there is the problem and the solution..."Advantage" does not work with 2328 but works with prior versions. "Advantage/Stage 5" must be used for 2328 - if Stage 5 is your broker. I had no idea there were 2 choices for Advantage as the clearing firm...one which is broker specific. Thanks for the help. |

In your case you need to use "Advantage/Stage 5".

FYI - there is no option to select "Advantage/Stage 5" in version 2320. There's no mention in the change log for the requirement to switch to "Advantage/Stage 5" in version 2328. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2021-11-23 16:09:36

Yes, it is in the newer versions only. Yes this is true: There's no mention in the change log for the requirement to switch to "Advantage/Stage 5" in version 2328.
It is not something we would normally mention because internally "Advantage" is a new item at the end of the list, but we realize it does lead to a problem now that we think about how the port settings are chosen.
